Think they are more comparable to Aesop's fables than fairy tales. Aesop's fables always tried to teach a wise lesson where fairy tales were more to scare kids to do what you wanted them to or just a story.

Awsome video!! Long format is really my favorite tbh. Like the short ones but I feel like the longer ones really draw Me back into the world especially if I haven’t read or played Hogwarts Legacy. It’s been about 3 month now I really am about to dive back into the game ( been looking for a home, then moving into it) so now I have more time and your video came up! Time to dove back into the wizarding world thanks to your content!! Thanks for all you do!!

I think an important factor is the word Bard in his name, bards verbally pass down through generations the local folklore in song or poetic format, so its likely his stories had some element of truth skewed over time by exaggeration and the filling in of gaps to make the stories more interesting. This is further proved by the peverells who most likely made the three hallows themselves, the brothers and the hallows and the ending is correct but their mastery of death has been represented in a more fantastical way in the story. This is probably the same for the other stories.

I had a thought a couple weeks ago about the true identity of beetle the bard.. could it not POSSIBLY be the youngest Peverell brother? Wouldn’t he be the best one to tell the story of the 3 brothers? Since we have so very little info on either man who knows when or where either of them were really born I think it’s a decent possibility

Rowlings story of "The Three Brothers" is based on an old ballad known as "The Three Magicians". Obviously she changed a lot to make it her own, but it's very much the same core meaning. Other Bard stories are based on both Grims Fairytales, Aesops Fables and old English and Scottish folk ballads. The Wife of Usher's Well, The Blacksmiths Wife, Twa Corbies, Thomas the Rhymer...all inspired her stories. Which is all well and good. Because like most of Harry Potters world, JK was heavily inspired by folklore and magical lore in our world. She just made them her own and brought them to life. This shows how well studied she is in folklore and magical lore of our world. Much the same as Tolkien.

Shadows of Redemption: A Duel of Darkness and Sacrifice In the heart of the Forbidden Forest, Voldemort stood over Dumbledore's lifeless body, his eyes ablaze with sinister intent. With a twisted grin, he twisted the former headmaster's limbs, infusing his corpse with dark magic until it rose as an Inferius, a grotesque puppet of his will. Meanwhile, in the dimly lit chamber of Gryffindor Tower, Harry Potter sat alone, grappling with the weight of his destiny. His mind churned with doubts and fears, but amidst the darkness, a flicker of determination burned bright. Suddenly, a cold wind swept through the room, carrying with it the stench of death and decay. Harry's senses tingled with foreboding as he rose to his feet, his wand clutched tightly in his hand. The door burst open with a resounding crash, revealing Ron, his eyes wide with panic. "Harry, we have to go," he gasped, his voice trembling with fear. But before Harry could react, Dumbledore emerged from the shadows, his once-kind eyes now vacant and soulless. Ron staggered back in horror, his wand slipping from his grasp. "Dumbledore..." Harry whispered, his voice thick with sorrow and disbelief. But there was no recognition in the Inferius' hollow gaze, only the cold emptiness of Voldemort's dark magic. With a surge of fury, Harry raised his wand, his grip steady and unwavering. The chamber erupted into chaos as spells flew, casting eerie shadows against the stone walls. Dumbledore's movements were stiff and mechanical, but his magic was still formidable, a testament to the power he had wielded in life. Harry dodged and weaved, his every instinct honed for battle. His spells crackled with raw energy, each one a testament to his resolve to protect all that he held dear. But in a moment of distraction, Ron stumbled into the path of Dumbledore's wand, a look of terror etched upon his face. With a flick of his wrist, Dumbledore unleashed a spell unlike any Harry had ever seen, a swirling vortex of dark energy that consumed Ron's very essence. "No!" Harry cried out, horror and disbelief coursing through him. But it was too late. Ron's body crumpled to the ground, lifeless and still. Harry's heart shattered as he beheld the lifeless form of his friend, a victim of the darkness that threatened to consume them all. With a primal scream of anguish, Harry unleashed a torrent of magic unlike anything he had ever known, a blinding burst of light that engulfed the chamber in its brilliance. And in that moment of raw power and emotion, the darkness that had threatened to consume them was banished, replaced by the light of redemption and sacrifice.

On the notion of the stories being real, they all likely are except for the three brothers, the other stories are all scenarios that seem pretty normal, as far as the wizarding world goes, but for the three brothers, I would be most willing to say that the 3 objects are most likely just really powerful objects made by dark natured wizards through the use of experimental magic. Experimental magic is something that is near non-existent, even as of 2024 in the wizarding world. Hardly anyone does it, and by extension to that, if someone were to use experimental magic to create something wholly new, it would garner superstition because of its impossibility to reproduce, and its powerful nature. For the hallows, the peverell brothers were the earliest known owners, which gave an essence of credence to the story. Even so though, the objects would still be wholly unique as even through the same method of experimental magic to recreate them, that still doesn't guarantee that the objects even can be recreated. In other words, sorta like a "we got lucky with it" thing.

If you think about the invisibility cloak is really the invincibility and invisibility cloak. Since it hides one from death;death can not claim you while you wear it. Hence while you wear it you can not die. Never heard anyone else talk about that 😅

But Draco petrified Harry on the train? Clearly spells still work.
@paden1865able Жыл бұрын
I dare say if a massive chunk of rock fell on someone wearing it during the Battle of Hogwarts, they would be flat, as well as dead. Sure, you could escape Death as an entity, but not as a concept.
@Yompers Жыл бұрын
@@orphanedhanyou that’s true • but the cloak avoids death not being hit by spells (clearly). Snape also seemed to hear or sense hairy when he was talking to Prof. Quirrell.
@Yompers Жыл бұрын
@@paden1865able the whole thing about the story of the brothers is that death was a real entity • magic isn’t always dictated by logic (especially in HP lore). As we perceive death and life there is no entity that brings death just as a stork may bring life to a couple (a stork being a baby) but that’s part of that story that to them there was. Even in Harry Potter they didn’t really believe death was a entity on top of that they were children’s tales. But the wand, stone and cloak were real so maybe death was too. If death was a real entity then the cloak would truly keep you from death while worn.

The more I looked into jk Rowling and her writing of Harry Potter. The more there's evidence that she stole the entire concept from various authors like dick Callum, adrian jacobs, and Neil gaiman. All three of these authors have written stories about kids, magic, and schools for wizardry. Then you have Rowling admit she got inspiration from the free masonry symbolism for the deathly hallows symbol. However, she got way more than inspiration her entire story if Hogwarts is structured by the "demolay international". This is a free mason organization that trains kids at the age of 11 to become masons at 18. Essentially it's a school of wizardry because free Masons do practice magick and alchemy. With that being said I know for sure JK Rowling made a deal with the devil and I don't mean the real one I mean the system that governor's the world. No way she has made billions and yet her entire story of Harry Potter is 100 percent plagiarized and copied. I love the harry Potter series but i am disappointed in jk Rowling.
