Ms. Blonde, I would suggest a number of cars, the 1981-83 Imperial that Lee Iacocca put together to go against Seville, 2nd generation.1956-57 Continental Mark 2 the most expensive American car in that time period, over $10,000. William Clay Ford had the eye for design as did his father Edsel Ford, Henry Fords son. Cadillac was not to be out done so the 1957-58 Eldorado Brougham was brought out, they made only 3 a day at the price of $13071.00. The Dodge Charger 1966-67, first generation, in my opinion one of the most attractive cars, and a mopar at that. Finally to give some options, and a dog, the Cadillac Cimeron, a more over priced under powered pile of xxxx there never was. Basically a dolled up Chevy Cavalier. These are some cars to look into. Thanks, Lance

I had a new '79 Seville with those tru spokes but, VOGUE tyres. Astroroof, fully equipped & still cheaper than the elegante. No diesel engine, thank you very much. The fuel injection was not designed for Express driving. Aside from that, it impressed me a bit. 4wheel disc brakes were quite good. Miss it.

Thanks for the video. Very in detail. Even bringing up the trip-o-matic setup. One thing tht wasn’t stated was the Elegante package for the 1978-79 year models adding an extra $2,000 to the MSRP.

Ms. Blonde, as a former owner of a 1976 Cadillac Seville, which had been a goal of mine to own, I was sad that I had to sell it and maybe in the future I will own another. Your information on the car was very accurate and informative, my only suggestion being could you maybe not move around so much. There isn't any reason to be nervous, you appear to be very well prepared. Keep up the good work. L

thunderstorms06 Ive got a under 40k mile 1976 seville really pretty rare dunbarton green what i did to my car right when I bought it was a smog pump and lines ectomy removal of pump n lines plug holes in manifold. creates that that big void between the compressor and the alternator the open veiw of the oil fill tube not covered up by a smog pump on my car im converting the AC to a modern version with bracket and sanden compressor in place were the smog pump was and removing the $600 to replace frigidare A6 compressor but using R12 to keep it cold. have not got the conversion installed yet just getting the parts, the new system may require use of the 1974 nova classic AC conversion kit to be rid of the infamous failing ac heat programmer that says blower no blow lol replacement parts for the aftermarket system 10 times less costly and avaiabilty is no problem. hope its an icy cold seville soon. cadillacs have always had ac problems the down side of the great old school cadillacs.the damned HVAC programmer no longer available there is an inline fuse for the fuel injection computer in the center of steering wheel under dash replace it with a fuse relay and save yourself a tow its sometimes not the computer box, its interupted power via that fuse powereig the compter thats bad it gets hot poor contact but doesnt blow so its never discovered. $10 car starts everytime. that fuse was getting hot replaced fuse blade style relay stays cool. good contact to 12volt difficult to do job wires are very short but solved the problem shops will instantly blame the computer box and run up a big bill, get rid of that inline fuse and replce the intank pump rid of the cat converter smog pump and enjoy driving the car
