As for the Homework, the Aztecs get the Public order boost in Jerusalem because the people of the city are happy that something actually happens, while, historically speaking, not much happened in Jerusalem.
@2.mursilihititogullar4114 жыл бұрын
Before meeting the Old World, the Aztecs were thinking that ripping the heart and throwing the body below is the coolest way to execute someone. But then they heard about crussification, and impressed. Especially that one crussification which caused a religion to be built just amazed them. They should go and see that place. Well, the Aztecs love Jerusalem, because coolest execution ever happened there.

This is what makes Medieval 2 super fun. Rebel settlements are apparently so valuable to the AI that they will even go out of their way to walk (or sail) long distances to have one, and if you happen have the ones the AI wants, and all you got is a few units of spear militia as garrison, you're screwed.

Homework: Aztecs are actually lost descendants of Seleucid Empire's people. They flew from Near East, because they were tired Armenia, Egypt and Pontus. Moreover, there is theory that some historians proposed. This theory says that Seleucid people were amazed, by strength of Egypt that used Bronze age tools in warfare. Seleucid people wanted to try this, but in more safer place, so they sailed to the west.

well you see. As proofen by the crusades the reason why people care about Jerusalem is not because it is a holy city. I think we need to look for similarities between the different factions. And the only simillarity that I can find is that they are all Androids. Therefore the only Logical explanaiton is that Jerusalem is the place the Androids where first assembled.

As we know from the start of BI, Paganism used to be the strongest, most unified faith in the world. Pagan nations like the Huns or Vandals had no religion related issues when conquering a majority pagan region from the ERE, since despite worshipping entirely different pantheons (or rather awesome temples and sacred circles, since the pantheon was canonically destroyed between RTW and BI), their religion is basically thesame. The Aztecs, also being pagan, are thus part of this ancient religion, and through the ERE (which was at the time of BI going through the transition from paganism to dental health) have a connection to Jerusalem. When the ERE took control over Jerusalem from Bronze Age Egypt is unknown, since we have no Total War Games covering this era of history, at least not any good ones ;-). However, beating the Egyptian chariot spam must have felt like divine intervention, and some scholars even suggest this is the cause for religion becoming such a key issue in BI-times, while it wasn't as much in RTW-times, thus causing this area of the world to become known as 'the birthplace of many religions'. Therefore, it is clear the Aztecs have a connection to Jerusalem that goes all the way back to 2005, and thus it is no strange thing that they too get a bonus for holding it.

Until now, they had forgot the technology to get back there, but now, they can. When they occupy it, the people are filled with glee, that they have been returned to their former glory, once more. Why do the Aztecs/people of Cholula get a public order boost? Because Jerusalem means place of the god of dusk. The Aztecs believed that the god Quetzalcoatl went to the East and would return. The sun rises in the east. Cholula also built the largest pyramid structure in the world to Quetzalcoatl. So ig in the Med II timeline the Aztecs end up looking him by going east.

Well to be fair Jerusalem was a great city of the Roman Empire. It has had is pagan times too. Seeing that the Aztecs follow to the same pagan believe that the Romans once did, historians argue some Roman Merchant ships might have fled Jerusalem to escape the Barbarian hordes. They started their own classical architecture cult in their new home, Mexico. After centuries however, they got bored looking at the black void at the western end of the world, so they sailed back to the old world to reconquer what had at one point been their holy land too.

As a jew I feel I may be able to shed some light on this one. For you see, jews are very helpful to the economy and happiness of a nation. With Jerusalem being the homeland of the jews, by importing such a resource the astecs would benefit. Weather it be by the internationally enjoyed pastime of "taking it out on the jews", (something even jews ourselves enjoy doing) or using them for their financial prowess. The whole nation would benefit

The Aztecs get a public order bonus to Jerusalem as they get to pick what type of person they can sacrifice to the Sun God, considering there are Jewish, Christian and Islamic people living there, whereas normally the Sun God lowkey gets bored of only getting Native American sacrificed. Because they balanced his diet a bit, he is happy and watches over the lands of the Aztec Empire, striking sun rays at anyone who disobeys, hence increasing public order.

It is simple, Jerusalem is just the name given to the city by the europeans, because they could not pronounce the original name, Cholusalem. The ancient aztecs, better known as the Cholucid empire, who were called the Selucid empire, again due to eurpeans not being able to properly pronounce their name, were driven out of Cholusalem by the ancient egyptians, as seen in rome total war. After all their territory was conquered and in their desperation they fled towards the black void in the east, seeing it as the only chance of escape from the might of bronze age egypt. Once they passed the void, they found themselves in america, the homeland of the peaceful huns. To no longer suffer attrition due to their lack of money, they immediately began conquering the huns' homeland. Which was quite easy, due to the huns' peaceful nature and lack of substantial armies, driving them out of america and into europe. Due to the crushing defeat at the hands of the superior cholucid militia hoplite phalanx, the huns adopted their horseback archer strategy and became a vicious warmongering people to conquer themselves a new home. Once the Cholucids settled in america, they weren't faced with any threats, due to having driven out its indigenus people and most of europe believing that crossing the void was impossible. Because of this the Cholucids entered a peaceful age of prosperity. By the time of medieval 2 total war, a lot of ancient Cholucid technology was lost, such as metal working, the phalanx and the knowledge of how to pass the void. Thus they had to cross the atlantic to reconquer their homeland of Cholusalem. And that is why the Aztecs get a public order bonus for conquering jeruzalem.
