Ok, so. Gold only lasts for 50 years, so. The word 'Age' is written in the imperial palace so it is coated in gold at the start, when the 50 years is up, the gold falls away so they go from having a Golden Age to having a Normal Age. They can only experience one because the country only has enough gold to coat one Age, and trade, much like diplomacy beforehand, doesn't work properly yet.

This source tells the tale of the Great Mamelukian Exodus. The Ottoman Empire annexed Egypt in 1600. Despite them literally walking into Cairo unchallenged every few years since 1470 already. Because the Ottomans prefered to go on holidays in Egypt rather than annexing the place, the Mameluke sultan had eniugh time to come up with a perfect solution that would save him from the Ottomans for good: find another desert. And so the Mameluks put all their Camels on boats, and left Egypt. They have now created a new empire, save from everyone, because no sane person would ever want to life in such a place. And so began the prosperous year of peace for the Mamelukian Sultanate of Australia.

well THAT'S isn't what i expected to see when you were talking about changing your chanel p.s. could you talk about tech development (how Renaissance became a world wide phenomena and even the most isolated tribe-like states in africa become almost as advanced as europe by the end-game)?

Ok so golden eras happen only once because the mighty op king of england decides to give 50 years of perfection to any nation but once so they can match the great england because england is always in a golden age

Reason why there is only 1 golden era for each nation is simple. Golden era as a name suggest, is an era in country's/nation's history, during which it experienced it's highest point, best development, longest peace, overall prosperity, and as we know, there can only be 1 when talking about best of something. Why 50 years? Easy, that's how long most monarchs rules and lives, and mostly golden eras are appointed to the life of specific monarchs or a few in a line, hardly longer than that.

@@MelkorGG sorry, as a historian i can't come with to irrational and funny anwsers, aside from the fact, that Golden Eras are granted by great Jan Mayen Polar Bear's empire, and they strictly gives only one for 50 years. How does it works? Many asks but all they get is swift death from Polar Bear's Space Marrines

It's funny how you read władysław. In polish w is read like v and ł is like w in why. Y is a bit like german ö but softer. J is like english y. You should read vwhadöswhav. You can also put in in google translator.
