I have nf1 and it’s good to see some awareness of the condition, especially considering how common it actually is, but please note it’s not a disease, you can’t catch it, you are born with it and have to live with it all your live. It effects everyone who has it differently, some ‘luckier people’ can not even know they have it and some can be to the extreme side of it. Lucky for me am nearer to the lucky side at the moment but it can change like a switch. Live each day as it comes and hope they make a good wack on the car, would love to drive a classic like that, but there’s not many of them in Scotland

I have NF and am on the unlucky side. I have thousands of fibromas all over my body, some tiny some not so tiny. I did not start showing signs of it until my early 20's, I'm 63 now. I try not to get depressed but not easy. it is not only physically but psychologically afflicting.

Man that is tough my heart goes out to that family and that little girl I lost my mother to breast cancer and a brain tumor she fought it for 2 year's before the 2 dieceses took her. Never give family you picked the right place to get a car done the best in the world and I hope this car raised so much money and awareness for this little girl and other's that are going through this tough illness. I wish I could cure her and every one with tumors

Our son has NF 2 also! God Bless you all for doing something to raise awareness for this devastating disease. Ryan just had his 15th surgery, and completed the first of radiation treatments to shrink a cluster of acoustic tumors on the right. He had a glioma that was wrapped around his optic nerve removed in 2017. He has multiple brain tumors. He was diagnosed at age 5 and is about to turn 21!

This poor little angle's situation just breaks my heart. My wife was a nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit of a major hospital. I do not know how she did it, I would just sit and cry. She always said, "these are my babies to care for". God bless Danny and his team for helping make this project happen.

The pain that family’s going through is unimaginable!!! I was going to comment about how beautiful that wife is but after hearing their story I had to dial it back. Just goes to show you that seeing a couple like that you think they have it all with no problems but they do. They have bigger problems than most. Money can’t buy happiness and it doesn’t matter how good looking someone is. Everyone has issues and hearing something like this just breaks my heart. I’m glad to hear he said he’s got a blank check and it seems like they don’t have money issues so they can provide the best possible care for their daughter. 🙏🏼
