They never show if he is attached, but standard procedure is that he HAS to be, so chances are, yes, he’s attached to the ship.
@chefyboy27488 ай бұрын
@@peanutbleach1012 No 🗿 The comet's force spins him around five or so times, that would cause the cord to wrap around them. The process of them being wrapped up would press them together, but the comet's lower body is not pressed into the astronaut after they spin, so that means he is not connected via a rope/cord out of view under the camera.
@peanutbleach10128 ай бұрын
@@chefyboy2748 you don’t know at what angle him or the rope was at, maybe the rope is directly below him or spinning a a different angle. Space isn’t one dimensional, ergo, he can be wrapped, but she doesn’t have to be.
@chefyboy27488 ай бұрын
@@peanutbleach1012 No 🗿 At the beginning of the video we're viewing the astronaut from his right, then the comet comes straight at the astronaut at face to face level from the astronaut's right before it collides with him and causes them both to fly to his left. We then see them both spinning to the astronaut's left a few times. We have no reason to believe the astronaut's original orientation was altered during the collision, so that should mean (unless I'm very very stupid) that the station/ship is behind "us" when they're spinning. The tether is connected slightly above the crotch area for every space suit I've seen. So all of this means his tether, if he had one, would be connected towards "us" and his groin area. So I cannot see the possibility of the tether being connected below him or on an odd angle. So he ded o7
@peanutbleach10128 ай бұрын
@@chefyboy2748 ignoring the pinned comment by the CREATOR saying that he survived, the astronaut is not perpendicular to the spacecraft at the beginning regardless, and slowing down the footage, we can clearly see a purple blob moving from the right of the screen through, transitioning us. Assuming that blob is the comet, we do not know her approach vector. She could be approaching at an odd angle, clocking the astronaut upwards, and still create the same blob moving effect. Even if the girl was moving directly sideways, then the astronaut is drifting there is clearly a cut, and since there is a spin, if we stick with the original perspective and approach angle in the video (likely), the ship is actually to the right of us, if not higher or lower. I conclude with the fact that the comet is a lot shorter than our astronaut, so it could be likely, even if everything you said were true, the astronauts rope might not even be high enough up to touch her, or be present on our screen.
