Early on in the stream Andy seemed to be a bit exasperated that Mike wasn't being a loud rampaging assassin and was trying to complete the optional objectives instead. Seems to me Andy was actually realizing that deep down he loves that murderous clown and his impudent hitmanning.

Usually watching Mike play Hitman stresses me out somewhat but to be fair, when explosives are involved, Mike's not just the best choice, he's the only choice.
@neolexiousneolexian60792 жыл бұрын
Mike's a fricking sniper with explosives sometimes. Flings them halfway across the map, hits the target directly in the face, and somehow gets away with it while Andy and Jane are still faffing about trying to be sneaky. Other times, not so much. But hey. High risk, high reward.
@leonardquirm2 жыл бұрын
"The last thing anyone expects is being killed by an exploding duck" - I'd normally agree but given the target in question can be killed in game by a ballistic missile strike of a giant water bottle, I think the exploding duck might take only second place...

You just described one of my greatest nightmares Andy, be trapped somewhere with a clown. I would seriously have to beg to switch seats or get off the plane. On a side note, my second grade teacher had actually been to The Ringling Bros Clown College. Also a full clown costume the graduate would finish with was called an "agent suit". So 47 must have attended the Clown College.

I looked up the rules for clowns. Apparently you're not supposed to go around just wearing the makeup- You must take it off as quickly as possible- So you're not seen doing anything that might besmirch the good name of clowning (like murdering folks). I think 47 is a fraud.

58:57 I really wish speed dragging was a thing. Like, instead of just dropping a body and running away if you start to dash you could drag a body faster for a bit and it would make as much noise as 47s "running".
@neolexiousneolexian60792 жыл бұрын
Huh. Could be an interesting mechanic to speed up any action at cost of dramatically increased noise and stamina use.

In german schools, just before graduation, there is a tradition to dress up according to various themes (at least where I come from). I don't remember all our themes, but one of them was "childhood heroes". I was incredibly undecided, because there were obviously gonna be a handful of Ash Ketchum, Super Mario and whatnot anyway, so I didn't wanna do any of those. I also didn't really know who or what specifically I should honor in such a way, so y'know. Anyway, 16 year old me then figured it would be fun to just dress up as the Grim Reaper and not explain anything at all. I came to school that day, arrived at the foyer, just walked up to my friend (who was dressed up as Toph Beifong that bloody genius, I hadn't thought about ATLA) and casually started talking to her. We were also like the first people in school that day, so the first people to arrive hadn't really seen anyone else in costume yet and therefore didn't really know what the theme was. I remember one (I guess about) sixth grader walking up to me, going like: "Excuse me, uhm, Mr.... Mr. Death, uh, if you don't mind... What is today's theme?" To wich I barely even broke the conversation with my friend, looked at him and went "Oh, it's childhood heroes." It was a great day. A great day indeed

Certain frequencies (low ones, I suppose?) do echo less... It would be interesting to try to engineer a sound that destructively interferes with its own echo, or a machine that basically produces an "echo-cancelling" sound which disproportionately destructively interferes with the echo of an arbitrary sound.
@neolexiousneolexian60792 жыл бұрын
It could be marketed to the military... It might make soldiers slightly stealthier in the very specific scenario where their mission involves yodelling in a echo-y place (or actively cloaking from active sonar, I guess).

I can’t believe you don’t know / didn’t know about the fart briefcase. I use it all the time if I need to emetic somebody. Conceal the emetic mine in the briefcase at the start of the level, go somewhere you aren’t seen, get the mine out and put it away in the briefcase again. The mine activates and you have the remote in your inventory. Then stand right next to your target and hit the remote. I’ve emeticed several elusive targets that way. You’re not suspicious at all.
