Whenever I try to explain Hitman to someone I end up going on for like half an hour before I get self conscious that I’m boring them. I could go on for days about how much I love this game. How amazingly the developers balance realism, unintentional comedy, cinematic epicness, and the ludicrously illogical to make a near perfect trilogy of games where rules and mechanics make sense in relation to the game, if not always in relation to reality.

Whenever I try to explain Hitman to someone, I always tell them how I got Hitman 2: Silent Assassin as a 8yo and thought it was funny to kill people and undress them. But of course now that I'm 26yo it's a great game despite that.

It's not typically game developers that make pricing and package decisions. That's a few tiers higher than the developers. The developers are just wanting to make certain the game assets interact well with each other, the NPCs operate correctly, the levels have enough weapons, etc... It's the upper echelon of a gaming studio that make the pricing decisions.

I thought my hdr was broken for a moment until I checked gameplay for this version. Played through Hitman 3 with 1 and 2 loaded in a while back on Series X. Bought World of Assassination for PS5 as it was on sale and I wanted to check out any haptics, and finally realized that they changed some things cosmetically specifically for this version. Moreso, 47’s face has been aged a bit, and the wax like shine on his bald ass head has been lessened considerably. Considering both were memes (reflective baldness and getting younger every game) I am actually impressed they have their finger on the pulse of the community to the degree they do. Even if it did drive me insane for a good few hours as I have not seen anyone discuss this (probably because anyone already owning the trilogy wouldn’t have bought it again here, unless in the tiny minority such as myself).

This Trilogy is an absolute masterpiece and I am proud to be playing this series for the last 7 years... It gives me a true next gen feel where every room in the entire level is enterable and every object can be interacted with in various ways and NPCs react to different situations and things in different ways.... It gives me so much freedom in planning my attacks and setting traps for accident kills... It all feels so satisfying....

I support. A first-person Hitman would be interesting too. Here Hitman VR goes like a first person and it's very cool to play like that, but who doesn't have VR equipment, he won't play like that. They did give up with Hitman: Absolution. Contracts missions online only and they did shutdown servers. No possible to make 100% achievement hunting. At least on pc.

Totally unrelated but I always wished they would make a game based on the "Archer" TV series. I know they are making a Bond game which would be similar. But I think the art style of Archer would make for a great game as well and seems like a perfect fit for them. Hell I would even trust them with a new Splinter Cell game over Ubisoft.

But, please ignore the angry people cause the things I'm seeing them complain about are usually the things that make the game mode fun and unique! @@awkwardsilence4427 actually both and more. Firstly like you already tought, releasing an one year old game full prized is ridicolous. But not enough there. After finally releasing the game on Steam it went totally wrong and you couldnt download the full content you bought. ioi saw that and wanted to "apologize" with the help of "free upgrades". So if you had the standart edition, you got a free upgrade to deluxe and if you bought deluxe, you got the 7 deadly sins for free (btw, if you had everything already on steam, you didnt get anything ;) ) and legit 2 days after this free upgrade phase ended, they for real did a steam sale in which the deluxe version had an even lower prize than if you bought the standart edition with the free upgrade to deluxe two days earlier. If that isnt a "fck you" right into our faces then i dont know what is. btw we dont have to talk about 7 deadly sins, changing the prize 2 years later from 30€ to 10€ is a fkin cheek given that they are the worst escalations in all of hitman. and thats not just my opinion... such a shame that the game and the franchise in general is so great and the people in charge are.... not.

@@hoodwatcher8665 Eh, being primarily a console player myself, having a game that’s been out for awhile (and gone on multiple sales) come out at full price on another platform is actually pretty typical. Yeah, it sucks that the game didn’t work correctly on Steam when it first released, but at least they did compensate. I mean, it would be nice if they could compensate for someone that already had everything…but like, how could they have compensated then? Out of curiosity, did that Steam sale happen before or after when the Trinity Pack DLC stopped being made available on Steam? And I’ll disagree about the 7 Deadly Sins being the worst Escalations, as I recall there being a lot of even worse ones back in Hitman 1. It was definitely overpriced at $30 dollars, but at least it had apparently been reduced in price since then. $10 for it sound fairly reasonable for what you get vs DLC costs nowadays.

Please make progression and unlocks possible while being offline because if you don't then no one will be able to enjoy this masterpiece when you inevitably shut down the servers for the game. Aah finally , another step closer to the legendary Hitman Blood money game , if you mix the world of assassination with Features from Hitman blood money , it would be the ultimate Hitman game …. This gives me hope for Legacy Contracts , Dual Silver Ballers and kill animations , now fix the Hitman 2 story cutscenes with real cgi cutscenes .
