I have a very sexually active life since 2002 til now. Im still HIV negative but I started PrEP (Truvada to Descovy) since 2014, and still HIV negative. I still do my quarterly test with my infectious-disease doctor with HIV/STD. While I love sex, I take my health very serious.

You don’t really need prep. If people who have HIV are honest with you about it - and they are on ARVs so are undetectable. If they are genuinely undetectable - you don’t need prep as they are unable to pass it on to you or if it was sex with a woman - you can’t pass it to her or a potential baby. As were undetectable. I’m undetectable and religious with my meds so in 12 years I’ve always had unprotected sex and not told people, and no one has caught it from me obviously as it’s impossible. People don’t need to be scared of people who are undetectable.. we need to mature and get educated. But people can lie about it, I don’t understand why they would as that’s sick. But if you know the person is undetectable, you don’t need to take the prep. Remember Truvada is very toxic to the body, it’s a chemotherapeutic drug. So avoid it if you can, but if it’s random sex then yes preps a good idea.

When I registered with my go the nurse done this test. awesonw tips,great video and fantasic information. pharmacists are excellent and helpful. these videos will save gp visit. after watching your videos i see pharmacist and then my gp.
