I tear the center through targets with my hk p2000. Consistent, fast follow up shots and it’s my main CCW. Main upgrades I did to mine was the trijicon HD night sights. Slim slide releases, extended mag release, flat baseplate mags, gray guns short reset kit, I put a 10 lb hammer spring to lighten to double and single action. I threw a tlr7a light on it and it’s just a sweet shooter. I’m looking at wright armories i-dot system for mounting a red dot next :D

I like the FDE on the frame. I'm in Nor-Cal waiting on the P2000 with a green frame to get outta jail in a few days, then head to the range. I have a USP 45 so this'll be my second H&K. I'm looking forward to the range time.

Bought the P2000SK with LEM trigger. Liked it so much (and wanted to experience the V3 type DA/SA trigger, with decocker), that I bought this P2000. Both are outstanding guns. I have 3 Glocks and I like them very much, because they are reliable and well made. However, these HK firearms are just in another realm, i.e., not a fair comparison, except they are equally reliable. HK are sort of the "Mercedes Benz" of the firearm world.

I owned p2000sk LEM. My best CCW gun. Also VP9 mag fits p2000sk and I love it.

I just compared them to the glock 19 today. Hk is thinner just slightly. Same length as glock. Grip on hk + 3/8 inch length.

They are great guns! I love the LEAm trigger, but DA/SA it great two. I love the USP compact 9mm (hence the name) I like the P2000sk also. I’ve sold them and just like bought the again (even in free state) I had p30sk but got rid of it for p2000sk little thinner/smaller and feels better in hand. The full-size p30 is good, wish I could find the fde frame ones in my state, you can tell most p2000’s for made for Cali (10 round mags) since on your roster. But it Keeps HK making em.

@@peterpiper3790 when I came from Glocks to the hk p2000 I thought the recoil felt snappy. What it ended up being was just a different recoil impulse. It has a higher bore vs the Glock or cz. Once I got used to the recoil impulse it feels very tame. Just a different feeling.

I love HK and have owned numerous vp9, USP, 45c. But if I’m being honest I don’t get how people think the build quality is superior to a Glock? What exactly makes it superior? They are a bit heavier because of the huge slides but that’s about it in my opinion.

I've just recently bought a P30L after comparing it to a Glock, and I'll tell you why I like it better than the Glock. I've shot the Glock before and I can tell you that I hated the sights and trigger. The P30L on the other hand is heavier (i like heavier guns), is hammer fired with restrike capability, can be carried cocked and locked, or chambered and decocked, has glow in the dark and better sights out of the box, and a superior trigger. That and it has more options to fit your hand, is fully ambidextrous with a mag release and slide release, and it's just build more durable. Of course, you're free to disagree, but that's why I like it.

It’s supposedly better than Glock yet Glock outsells these by tens of thousands if not more including to law enforcement professionals.....there’s a reason for that.

@@OverlordAntares durable as in how? The most I’ve ever heard a hk running is 92,000 rounds and that was from Todd Green in pistol training.. I’ve heard of glocks running 150,000-200,000 with just changing of springs. My HK have always looked more worn coming out of holsters. The trigger on P30 stock is absolute trash and among the worst triggers ever made by any standard. The muzzle flip is worse. It’s pickier with ammo because it was turned for nato spec ammo. HK suck with reloads well my shitty reloads they did not like. Where Glock just spits them out with very little issue. Outside of hype and trust me I love to hype em I’ve owned a handful of them I just don’t see an extra 3-500 dollars in that pistol.
