In January of 2006, 24-year-old Jennifer Kesse left her condo in Orlando, Florida on her way to work. She never showed up, and she has never been seen since.
On this episode "Nancy Grace" recorded just days after she vanished, guest host Jane Velez-Mitchell talks with Jennifer's parents and her then-boyfriend along with investigators and reporters to try and piece together the last few hours leading up to her disappearance.

I live here in Orlando and remember this story...there's been atleast 4 or 5 more women who has gone missing after her as well and no bodies are found...i would have to agree with the human trafficking

She was abducted in the hallway seconds after locking her condo door ar roughly 7:30, as she had a meeting that morning; she never made it to her car. She was taken to a vacant condo used by construction workers, assaulted, likely murdered, and then taken away in a separate vehicle. Her car was not used in the abduction, it was simply moved a mile away to confuse the police, the K-9 confirmed this. There is therefore no "window" for the crime to have been committed, the car is really of very little use to set up a timetable. The police never checked the vacant condo(s) used by construction workers, some were undocumented, for DNA or other evidence. Some left shortly afterwards and there's no record of them. The complex should have been cordoned off, all tenants & workers investigated and all condos checked for evidence; this wasn't done. With surveillance & ever growing tech, its harder to do anything unnoticed in the world, when youre under ever increasing surveillance/monitoring... where our watches/phones can trace our every step, by gps, with amazing accuracy. The "dog trace from her car back to her condo" isn't exactly accurate, because it could be a trace from her condo TO the car. The dog only knows the scent exists, but can't determine the DIRECTION of the scent trail.

@@britsareweak I'm not sure allowing what "makes sense" to color the facts is all that helpful or wise. Facts sometimes don't make sense, but they exist just the same. What we know is there is (probably, nothing is 100%) a scent trail between the apartment/condo and the car. And for right now, thats all we know. Sure, its LIKELY to be from the car back to the condo---but to excude other possibilities until the evidence exists to rule them out is counterproductive.

It’s too bad LE didn’t leave her car and monitor it for several days. If those responsible felt confident Jennifer’s car had not been found by LE, they absolutely could have gone back for it. They could have attempted to sell it. Even sell it for scrap or have it stripped for parts.

She lived in an unfinished condo complex. Construction was still going on. Construction workers lived in the unfinished condos and they would wolf whistle at Kesse which she complained about to those close to her. All the workers had keys to lock up their tools and get in and out of the condos to do work on them. They had a key and opened her door and went in and waited for her to get up and shower and they blitzed her.

I read about this case many years ago and I agree that it was probably someone in the construction crew who killed her at her home. They probably had keys to her condo, got in and killed her. Still no suspects after 16 years. Hopefully, the monster who took her will be found and arrested soon!!

Here's what you do: find the time that Jennifer was abducted and find the time the car was returned. if it was three hours then at 50 mph that's 150 miles divided by 2 equals 75 miles. Look for Jennifer's body within a 75 mile radius. Get a map and look for rural areas. She has to be within the area.

I remember this case like it was yesterday, she lived right across the street from me (The apartment complex was infront of my house neighborhood). Her flyers were everywhere on electric boxes, until they were sunbleached and, eventually disintegrated . Traffickers don’t usually abduct unknown adult women in the US. That attracts too much attention. If they can lure someone to go with them on some pretense, it lowers the credibility of the victim and the urgency of the search. Or they traffic kids. Cases like Jennifer’s are usually murders. I have survived trafficking and worked with victims. Just a pattern I have noticed. A lot of parents want to believe it’s trafficking because then they’re alive. It just doesn’t fit the pattern I’ve seen.

It was likely one of the transient construction crew members (at her new condo complex) who abducted and killed her. They probably had keys to her room and could have abducted her there or when she entered her car in the parking garage. I've followed this case for many years and hope that they open this cold case again.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was when she went to her car. Otherwise her briefcase, her purse, her car keys and her brother's friend's phone and her phone wouldn't be missing. I tend to think that all that stuff is somewhere around where her body is. I also feel like the person who did this either made her feel like he wasn't going to hurt her at first and possibly asked her for money while holding some type of weapon on her. Made her somewhat trust him to an extent that he was going to let her go eventually. Once she found out that it wasn't true she fought back, but it was too late she was in the middle of nowhere by then. I'm pretty sure he was watching her, and one day drinking or getting high, he acted upon his impulses.

Jennifer's brother has said in several videos that there was a white van (workers at the complex) that was parked near/next to her spot at the condo complex. He added that he tried to talk with them and they ignored him. He said he got the feeling something wasn't right and they "knew something." I am wondering if it that white van parked next to her as she was getting into her car and they opened the sliding door and took her? There was a woman in another video who lived at that complex and said she caught a peeping Tom on her patio and when she "busted him" the person took off in a white van. Perhaps the same van/ a connection?

Someone she knew did something to her....There was no breakings in her apartment..That person must have stalked her...Waited until she got out of her home and did something horrible to this beautiful woman.... I pray some day the family and friends find answers and closure....🙏🏾💞

Her boyfriend said that she called or texted him every morning when she first woke up. But not the morning she went missing. That’s first thing out of ordinary and would lead u to believe someone did something to her or took her during the night. But there was evidence it was a typical morning as she got ready for work and no signs of a struggle or break in. So she got ready for work as usual, walked out and locked the door. But, never made it to work, so whoever took her did so between her door and leaving in her car. Another witness said they saw her struggling for control of her with someone else as they drove away that morning. I went back and listened to be sure he said she contacted him every morning as soon as she woke up, and not that she called every morning on way to work. That’s the only dif in routine. Also the only thing that shows a possibilty of someone else in her condo prior to morning. But every single other thing suggests business as usual til she goes out of her condo and locks door. Not much, prolly means nothing, just something i noticed

Crazy thing about this story is the real person of interest is someone within the police force. I don’t know why they don’t tell the full truth but this young woman began to use drugs with her “guy friend” as well as a lot of guys from OPD. The police are working together to keep this case from being solved. Why no one is talking/ telling the truth really bothers me.

It appears to me that it was someone who was watching her and knew her routine every day I would look into the workers who was working that day and if there were anyone that had a problem with her at work because some times people get mad and act like they are over it but still have resentment and may plot to harm her, There also could be someone that she used to date?
