You have built a beautiful module brother. I’ve commented before about the realistic look of the water pipe area and it’s just as impressive seeing it again. I’m looking forward to the new module and hope you heal quickly. Even doing work at the desk is a pain. Elevate it or it starts pounding. Nice build.
@TheSteelRoad3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Derek I appreciate that! Yeah it sure is a pain, the only time its comfortable is when elevated so I can only do about 1 hour sessions at the desk but its algood 😎 cheers for stopping by brother!

Absolutely love this update. You have such a mastery of scenery and weathering techniques. I like your take on "life" around the tracks. As I've said earlier in another video.. you have such precision with writing on bldgs and railcars.. This has to be a part of real life for you.. I have to get busy on my own layout.. too much time has passed with zero progress.. your video is boost for me to get it in gear and make something happen. Have a great week and enjoy that new computer.

Hey thanks mate I really appreciate that comment! I spent a few years working on the railways so I got to see a lot of track side scenery and ive always been a huge fan of the way graffiti looks on rail cars and old industrial buildings so thats alwsys inspired me 😎 im glad my videos have motivated you and im looking foward to seeing your layout progress! Take care mate - kiwi

Great layout tour, amazing work done. That road looks superb and the paving in the oil facility is quite nice. The background buildings are superb. And definitely a container yard. Hope your leg is better.
@TheSteelRoad3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate im glad you like it! After some thought i am going to do a container yard, more of s storage yard with some containers stacked up surrounded by a fence to give the impression it goes off in the distance 😎 and yep the legs slowly on the mend cheers mate

All the small details and scenes are tying together very well. A salvage/scrap yard would look good the at the back there too. They have lots of scope for fine detail. cheers, Jim

Cheers Jim! Im really happy with how its coming together, I actually did think of doing a salvage yard there but I dont have a track to serve the gondolas but im defiantly going to try and squeeze in a scrap yard on the second module 😎

You got a good thing going there. Try to resist the temptation to add too many structures. The eye needs some empty space (trees and fields and empty lots.) I broke my foot a few years ago. Took a long time to heal. Good luck!

Everything is looking excellent. Very talented modeler you are. I'd say warehouse over container yard but I'm biased on that because I hate containers and container trains being that they replaced boxcars. There's not enough room for a container yard either along the back there. Just my thoughts. Good video and hope to see you posting more often now that you've got the new set up. 👍
@TheSteelRoad3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the nice comment mate 😊, yeah I was thinking a warehouse too as I love scratching. If I was going to do the container yard it would have just been for looks, more of a small storage yard really, and yep plenty more vids on the way! 😎👍

Looking really good. I’m a container fan. However I almost think a large warehouse would fit better in that area. And the dead body is hilarious. Lol
