i suggest to use a 5 element nimh battery pack to power the receiver. Those 4 AA battery tends to go loose after a couple of jumps

I been using that transmitter for the last year, just love it. you can get more recievers for it from 12 to 18 dollars most days gyro included. I think spectrum will charge ya 80 bucks for that

I raced nitro for about a year back in 2000 2001 I had a Losi XX 2wd with a 15 size OS red head motor They can be a headache sometimes lol Very fun though while they are running good Love the sound I like this one Very cool for the guy to give it to ya 👍✌️

I have a kyosho inferno neo 2.0 which the pull start snapped a few months ago and not got round to getting a replacement, do you reckon it's worth converting to one of them roto start setups?

Thanks mate. I do like Kyosho. Especially the trophy truck that came out recently. I think I would put the pull starter back on as the starter box is not light and an extra thing to charge and carry when you wanna go out 👍👍🙂🙂

Ah aye that's a good point like mate I'll stick to the pull cord for now, I don't drive so I cart my rc stuff round in a trailer for my push bike so any extra weight is definitely not cool lol soon as I heard the nitro revving away I thought I've gotta get the inferno sorted! I picked it up second hand a couple of years and it's been no bother what so ever other than the pullstart snapping. Fingers crossed I've not jinxed it 😂

I have an rc10gt as well. I use to enjoy nitro, but it run close to $50 a gallon now. Plus idk how hard rc10 parts are to get since I haven't really checked around.

Unknownname mine’s in good shape mechanically except the motor, I ran it so much the motor loses compression after the first run of the day. I haven’t bought new parts for it in a while, when I did need them, eBay was my best bet. If you do electric conversion, loosen up the slipper clutch, that drivetrain wasn’t built for the power of brushless motors.

I was thinking about using an xl5 and titan motor from an old traxxas I have. I will need a new set of wheels and tires and also a new body. My rc10's body is so bad it's basically cut in half.

Unknownuser I don’t know if I can, it’s the original O.S. 10 that came with the kit, plus the screw heads on the head are stripped. I believe the drivetrain components on the GT are similar to the RC10 and I remember having to adjust the slipper clutch on those even with the brushed motors. The GT it was set fully right because the engine had the clutch on it. Not sure how hard it would be to get parts to rebuild the gearbox if it get stripped.
