Great review Paul, love ya work. Looks like an awesome kit I'll definitely be adding this one to the stash. I've never really been interested in any aircraft except modern U.S jets but this kit looks great.

Great review Paul, looks to be a well thought out and nicely packaged kit. Other than those decals and moulded on belts, should be great kit to build ! glad those wires gave you no trouble mate ;)

Check out the Su-33....by Kinetic....i was surprised...its a great kit

Those little strange raised plastic bits you point out at 8:55 are where the plastic is injected into the mold cavity. You'll see them in all those single piece fuselages with no 'sprues' per se. Actually in this case there are three injection points, the two on the wings and a third one on the little sprue supporting the cockpit hole. You will never see those on fuselage pieces attached to a normal sprue tree where the plastic is injected into that big nub at the center on some brands and a circle on others, where it spreads into the whole mold.

Thanks for mentioning the Su-27 at the end of your F-14 review,I have been on the fence about the Tomcat,but I love Russian jets and this one looks great, hope it's available in the US soon!

Looks like a nice kit Paul, even though it looks a little soft on the seat and under the canopy behind the seat? Those pip marks on the upper and lower surfaces are the injection points for those parts.

Yeah, no worries, the academy is a two seater so i have two of the brassin seats in there and it's going in the bin when i finish this one. Just let me know where to send it bud.

Paul, have you tried Finisher's buffing compounds; they come in 3 colored pots, a green, red and blue one.
