Nick; I must say this was an excellent video. The mans' fish room is amazing, but what really stands out is you. You, not one time, dominated the tour. Unlike in the US, where the person conducting the tour, tends to take over, and will not shut up. You asked questions, talked very little, and allowed him to show and explain his fish room. That alone made it a very great tour. But you acted like an interested fellow fish keeper who wanted to learn something new. It was great, be proud! Thank you.

I honestly put off watching this video for quite awhile because there are just so many fish room tours and very few of them hold your attention after the first ten minutes. But I have to say, this was probably the top fish room tour I've seen. And it's not just the tanks and the fish themselves, but the editing style. Excellent use of third person camera, excellent use of b roll footage, and just excellent choice of content. Bravo sir.

Looking at the duration of the video I thought I wil just play and skip the video in few mins... As I experienced in other other fishroom studios. But with this one, I couldn't believe that I didn't took a pause and felt the video was small to the amount of interest and life this guy has put into the aquarium and fish hobby. I must say, all the aquariums were so much alive and engaging than those sparkle clean glass boxes which are being promoted nowadays through brand sponsored channels. Thank you very much for your efforts and time to showcase this fish room tour. 👍🏻

Shell dwellers are hands down my favorite type of fish. I currently only have Similis, multies, and Brevis. I want to get more Brevis and eventually do some blue and gold ocelottus. Btw, I think everyone should have an older fish friend in the hobby. I started a conversation with a fellow hobbyist on craigslist a few years ago. Now we talk and text everyday, go to fish shows together, trade plants and fry, and even hang out pretty regularly. I've learned from him, 20 years my senior, and he's learned from me.

This is the best fish room tour I've ever seen! I don't typically like them at all and this one had me hooked and a little jealous! The skill and dedication is obvious but I loved his terminology about other fish rooms being "too clinical" - that's exactly it! His tanks look so natural because he doesn't nit-pick, nature is imperfect and that's what makes it perfect. Love the use of natural materials he has prepared and harvested, love the use of plants and the ecosystems he has created without harsh over management or overuse of excessive tech. I also loved your skill as the camera man, and the way you asked questions but also let him show and explain. You didn't try to steal the spotlight and overshadow him but you had enough presence and asked questions on point!

What an amazing tour around Adrian’s fish room, his outdoor ponds, birds and the tanks in his house. The fish room is spectacular, the tank setups, the variety of fish, the amount of fish he showed that were breeding was fantastic to see for sure, and the use of plants for filtering the water in the tanks and braking up that clinical look is genius. The hour and 4mins just flew by listening to what he had to say as he was showing you around. 👍🏴

One of my favourite fish room tours ever 😍 Just wanted to pull up a couch and chill in that room before having dinner in the chillest dining room ever... 🤣😍😍 Also, probably been said in the comments already, the wet feet on the peace lilly thing is they don't like suffocating in wet soil. In a tank with high dissolved oxygen they will thrive. Leant that through aquaponics and things people say you can't grow with"wet feet". Again this was awesome cheers 🍻

9:30 This is what I found with pothos. Grow the plant outside the tank and let it grow a vine THRU the tank. The nodes will sprout their own roots, and it the plant keeps exposure to the air in other places along the vine, you get huge leaves and GREAT removal of toxins from the water. After noticing two tanks that were outperforming other, I started replicating this. Syngonium also works extremely well with its roots in the tank and the plant above the water line. The root mass creates a good hiding spot for new fry, and you often find them there first.
@samhain9394 Жыл бұрын
Check out Coleus, too. Just give it a tube clip or something to lean on/tie to, to keep the lowest nodes from drooping into the water (or else it'll just abscise them after a bit by itself anyway, NBD) 👍 Nice, heavy feeder that can grow considerably with good light.

Watching this video was truly an awesome experience, Adrian's tanks, ponds were really spectacular. I can see just how relaxing sitting in his fish room could be. I love fish keeping its such a great hobby to get into, and can be so rewarding just by taking the time and care aqua scaping a tank, introducing the fish and watching them thrive and multiply. I currently am running a Swordtail tank, Endler Guppies tank and an Albino Bristlenose tank, all are thriving healthy, the Bristlenose's have just started breeding and have around 40 fry, with another batch soon coming from the second female bristlenose. My next tank I am hoping to house Kribensis and peppermint bristlenose. Love watching your channel mate, I may come visit your store as I am also a Brissy local. Keep up the great work mate!
