Great Job on the upgrade. I've got a tandem hobie mirage oasis I'm going to do the same to. We have been coming down a river that takes 4 plus hours, this seat upgrade will make it much more comfortable. Thanks

FitzYakin I thought about it just for the seat but no need now. I really use my yak hard and in 6 months a new one would look the same as this one. Thanks for the comment.

Hank, can you please post a link to the seat, I saw the Ascend logo, but want to make sure I purchase the correct one. Also, did you reuse the bar that you cut off of the rear seat support or use new material? Thanks looking to upgrade my 12 outback.

David Collins David I did not reuse the bar I cut off. I looked for the seat on Bass Pro Shops website and couldn’t find it but I just happen to have plans to go there in the next day or two. I will see if they still sell it.

David Collins This is the seat. Not available online at Bass Pro currently. However you could do a web search. I waited about 2 months for Bass Pro to get them in. Ascend Deluxe FS12T Sit-On-Top Kayak. Good luck.

Try contacting Ascend and tell them your looking for a replacement seat for a FS10 kayak.
