This is shown by the first hobo hobo funnie show video where its a TV show, similar to how the gummy bear had his own show. Perhaps ramster is just mostly known as a ringtone company with mascots like hobo, but maybe they've used hobo before.

Analysis: I'm starting to believe the humanoid creature that attacked Hobo is the computer itself, or at least a security measure, which sees Hobo as a virus since he is ‘defying’ his programming; its head is even in the shape of the company logo. It has obviously been the weird static human that has been chasing Hobo this whole time, and it’s also the reason why it traps him in an ad when it catches him: that’s where he should be, according to the Computer. Additionally, the company’s name is 'Ramster', which may mean it is associated with the hamster as a mascot, which is why the computer glitched out when Hobo interacted with it. Speaking of Ramster… Ramster seems to be an animation company that does computer animation, making advertisements for other companies, primarily food companies. They also seem to have created a revolutionary tech that has the models instead move and basically animate for them using AIs, hence the whole 'AI implementation' we saw. However, recently the Ceo of Ramster has apparently gone missing. Considering how Hobo is far more aware/sentient that the other AI, and also has flashbacks of what seems to be the real world, it doesn't take a genius to put 2 and 2 together that Hobo is most likely this missing Ceo, or perhaps his consciousness. Now, using what we know, I have a theory on how this whole mess started. We know that none of the AI we've seen so far are really bright, they're all far too insane and vulgar for the family friendly ads Ramster makes. What if, in an attempt to make ‘smarter’ AI, the company tried scanning real human brains, starting with the Ceo's? But the process didn't go right, and instead, it trapped his consciousness inside the program; so now the company is trying to sweep the whole mess under the rug.

I really like how despite everything thing, Hobo is at least aware at when the 4th wall/meta is meant to appeal to kids, he’s keeps himself appropriate and doesn’t curse. Maybe it’s because of his cousin that he’s thinks about it, or his subconscious self-respect of being a commercial mascot. A minor characteristic of Hobo, but a really nice detail, nonetheless.

Alright, so I'm pretty sure someone else probably beat me to the punch on this but I think Hobo might be the missing CEO. For one thing, there's the newspaper that we see at the mall but another thing to point out is that the sausage guy calls Hobo a "Nepo-baby", a term referring to people whose parents have succeeded in the same careers and thanks to their connections to the industry, gave them a cozy spot without having to work towards that. Considering that Hobo (the character) has been around since the 60s/70s, it's most likely that the missing CEO was given his position by the previous one, who most likely was their parent. There was also a small bit where after witnessing the cereal mascots doing... y'know... gross shit, Hobo says "You can't put that on TV!", this could've been a throwaway line but I also have a feeling that this could have been a rejected commercial pitch from the CEO but that's just me. Finally, there's the whole reason as to why the CEO got into this mess and became Hobo. It most likely has something to do with the "AI Implementations" and how they managed to find a way to implant the human conscious into a digital world. My theory is that The CEO tested this and something must have gone awry that lead to him sort of "becoming Hobo" but again that's just my take.

A lot of other comments have pointed out that Hobo's probably the missing CEO, or at least the CEO's heir. There's a detail I haven't seen mentioned as much in light of this: whoever Hobo is, he's very clearly dissatisfied with the advertisements he's thrown into, and not just out of existential horror. He complains that the WcDonald's Kids Meal is using computer-generated footage when it shouldn't have to; he's outright indignant when one of the Breakfast Buddy'z swears and confounded by their, uh, untelevisable conduct; his breaking point is when he's put in a remake of an older commercial, which seems to really offend him on an artistic level more than anything. Whoever Hobo is, he's got some serious opinions about what makes a good advertisement. I think that's interesting.

i remember putting on one of your community posts of how I wanted hobo (blue guy) to be like, comforted or asked if he was ok, or something along those lines. And then the next part included something similar to that while he's being transported to a bajillion dimension and having a reasonable mental breakdown. Funniest shit ever tbh. But seriously, I want the blue guy to be happy and with peace and quiet for once. Maybe being out of this product-placement limbo/hell he's in
