Back in the '50's I went with my parents to a concert in Lundbreck to see Hod Pharis and I remember this song like it was yesterday

It's wonderful to hear the original by the man who wrote this Country classic, Hod Pharis. Hod was a simply wonderful songwriter; he wrote so many gems!

I hope so too. Met him in 88 as a kid and never knew he was famous. Nice person, good music, nice times at O'Keefe Ranch

I remember around 1988 sitting across from him at the kitchen table playing my song Don't Let Go..He came up with a cool ending..I still play it the same way..a very sweet man.
