When I was in high school I was allowed to travel overseas to France, Ireland, England, Wales, Italy, and Greece. Before our trip, we were taught the cultural differences in each country compared to living in the United States. I wish that Hofstede's cultural framework was integrated into that curriculum. I found this video interesting because it does a good job at breaking down the differences that should be highlighted when comparing another culture to ones own. Having the the country recieve these numerical scores to compare to another culture do show the some of the differences in the values of cultures, which is important when visiting a foreign culture and to be respectful.
