Armadillos are good to teach a youngster to hunt. They aren't warm and cuddly. Thanks for the clip.

First time I've seen a Dillo on this channel. I am shocked at how fast it was able to move! Good shooting as always.

I have a couple of landowners that want armadillos removed. Yes, they can move quite fast. They can actually be quite graceful - hard to imagine, but true.

Thankx for a new and invigorating video, Brian! I have a pair of cute 'Dillo stories--one from S. America and one from Texas. Both depict the "silly" (to say the least) "personality" of this critter which we call The Armadillo! Stay cool, Brother! bsgit

Always enjoy your videos thank you for bringing us along. I always bring my 5.7x28 sbr with suppressor for the skunks and armadillos. Alot quieter and not as expensive. That being said i hunt off the roof of my atv so i can haul more stuff and drag off the hogs . Please keep up the great job you're doing

Also wanted to know? Can’t see the purpose of shooting them!?

Armadillos in Texas are considered to be a naturally invasive species. These are the nine-banded armadillos (Dasypus mexicanus (formerly D. novemcinctus mexicanus) is not a protected species and are considered to be a pest. I only hunt them on properties where the landowners want them gone. The same holds for coyotes and skunks. The only animals we kill on the property I own are hogs and beaver.
