Matty, I was like you. Never finished the movies. A marathon was on TV one day and just sort of watched them. They are really good movies. As it progresses, it isn't so kiddy. If you plan on playing this game, give them a go in the time leading up until launch. Who knows, you might catch the bug like I did. I cant wait to play this thing!!!!

As well as the books. The first two movies/books are much more for children (in a way). The third one less. And from the fourth one and everything after that it becomes more and more adult. As Harry potter himself and his friends mature, so does the tone of the books and thus movies. It has to be done on purpose by JK Rowling.

@@jameswayton2340 I always thought this was a brilliant move from a film franchise standpoint. Back in 2001, The Sorcerer's Stone, you can definitely tell it was directed at a younger audience. Maybe between ages 7-12 or something like that. But as Harry Potter gets older, the audience that watched the first film grew too. It makes for a much more captivating tale, where the viewer actually can relate to Harry's aging and the problems that come with it.

I watched the basilisk one back when it came out, but i hadn't seen the others. I did read the Half-Blood Prince (nephew convinced me it was good, and I agree it was good) but haven't read any of the other books. With the hype about this game I did binge watch all the movies, and it IS a much better overall story than I had expected. I'm an older guy, but I am excited to play this game, it does seem like it's going to be a good one.

@@baneblackguard584 Lord of the Rings is what I loved and what me and my son always once a year watch all of them in a day . The hobbit too ,I even like that . I never could get into Potter . Hogwarts Legacy was looking like a promising rpg so I wanted to learn the lore and make the game experience better . I ended up after the 1st Potters getting hooked . It is not as childish as I thought thought it was . The further you get into the movies the less pc it is . The kids actually grown up and you see it through the movies . I'm glad I finally got into the Potter universe .

@@marshallbeck9101 I like to buy physical copies I do by digital sometimes, but with physical I don’t have to worry about any transactional problems online, any corrupt data that I have to re-download everything, usually when I get done with A game I don’t hold onto it forever so I end up giving it to either a friend or a relative so it helps them out. Not also to mention when you do physical copies at stores like GameStop etc. they do sometimes midnight releases the getting this game on the 6th for instance, people like getting collectors edition of stuff so if you get it at physical copy that stores they throw in a little extra bonus. (For those not in the know, this knock back spell was never in the books, and was essentially your workhorse combat spell in the early EA Harry Potter games!) I am not a Harry Potter fan but I love fantasy and magic, the environments are what got me interested in it and the free roaming look of it. the animations and the character models and dialogue do seem a little rough though. I would love to see other fantasy worlds in a game of this style

You missed a lot. You could also breed your own beast. You have different type of brooms that you can fly on. Some are upgradable. You have different type of animals that you can fly on. There's so much content to this game that I'm super excited for Tuesday after 11:59 p.m. because I know that the next minute I'll be playing Hogwarts. I have a pre-ordered on my series. X very excited! This will probably be one of the game of the years and it looks gorgeous the graphics

The only thing I'm truly upset about so fwr is the lack of the nemesis system in the student body. Imagine if you could randomly generate Friends & Rivals akin to the Orcs from Mordor. It's the coolest system WB have, they don't let anyone else use it, and they don't use it themselves.

3:17 no it isn't, it has been confirmed you are not locked into that house. if you change your mind last minute, you can pick something else. but of course you can't change house after that. ALSO: classes are not like persona. they are more similar to missions and not timed. if you want to make a video like this, check your information.

Thank you. Plus it was revealed that while there are side-quests involving the classes to get additional spells, plants, and potions the classes are mostly reserved for main story quests to get spells, plants, and potions that are essential and basically needed to progress through the main story.
