Branch Specialisations are the number of special forces doctrine branches you can go down, you typically start with one and can get another via a generic decision in most countries. Love the content!

Here's a challenge for you. Play US as the arsenal of democracy. Don't build your own army but supply every single allied nation with guns tanks and planes. No airforce beyond carrier based aircraft. Allowed a navy because you need something to defend those convoys from hungry wolfpacks

A little bit of advice: Air crew Surveys is much better than the branch independence spirit. Branch independence takes 500 days to pay for its own cost, barely being a net benefit by 1938, whereas surveys reduces doctrine cost by 15%. Given that each air doctrine has 10 researches, at 100 each, that nets you a pretty nice 150 saved air XP. The paratroop doctrines each cost 60, and with crew surveys it goes to 51 each. That saves another 54 xp overall, meaning that air crew surveys saves 154 air XP and prevents 25% of all accidents, which is basically free reliability. Branch independence takes 1,500 days to get the same xp payout as air crew surveys, which puts it out of the scope of practicability for most games.

If I am not mistaken, Welded armor requires Chromium. So cast takes longer, but is resourceless.

You should know that all branches have buffs and cap reductions so when you are at war in 1940, you can unlock another branch via a 50pp decision and use that to get more buffs even if you won't make those special forces. In this instance you could have unlocked marines or mountaineers and gotten even more paratroopers out without having to get more fodder regular troops trained.

Best way to break the spec ops cap is to get proper heritage army spirt. Create a 2 width and a 56 width cavalry templates. Then poop out 2 widths in the hundreds and set the only equipment the 56 widths can use as the ww1 equipment then swap over.

I feel the voice problem. I have a natural bass baritone speaking voice that I have to raise for people to hear in any kind of noisy environment otherwise it sounds like thunder over the horizon. When I get annoyed and talk louder it makes windows vibrate. The only benefit I have found is that it is great for storytelling and soothing people to sleep. Downsides include anything I say lightheartedly still sounds like I am narrating the heat death of the universe.
