Lightsong being a shlubby accountant is one of my favorite twists.

Well by process of elimination, considering the dead shards we know about: Devotion and Dominion on Sel (Elantris) Ambition on Threnody Honor on Roshar None really seem to fit "where two lands meet" easily, without reaching quite a bit. But there is another dead god in the Cosmere: Adonalsium itself. And Yolen, where the Shattering happened, is a word divided between two distinct ecosystems. So my money is on Hoid referring to his homeworld. But who is the man who didn't know himself?

Endowment’s perpendicularity is near where the Tears are harvested, so that could be a reason for the difference in ecology.

"Where two lands meet and gods have died" could also be referring to Sel (Elantris)

I don't remember if they discussed the Lightsong paintings in part 1 but it is one of the connections to Stormlight so I hope they cover it.

The three "sport and recreation" things I recall from Stormlight are the freed Parshendi playing cards, dueling and Vasher playing that throwing stones game from Warbreaker (topical.)

I think the Lands Meet place is Yolen. I’m reading the Dragonsteel Prime release and the “border of two lands” is stressed a lot.

I remember Zahel / Vasher playing with his colored stones in the training room. But that is probably not the sport you had in mind.

The Hoid quote (I BELIEVE) is referencing Taldain! Siri is asking about how he learnt to story tell in such a way using sand. The magic sand is from Taldain. Where two lands meet, can refer to dayside and nightside on Taldain Where gods have died can refer to the clash between Mercy Odium and Ambition on Taldain where Ambiton was killed I think this is just a cheeky nod from Brando to another world, which is why he made it quite on the nose. I don't think there's too much to read into this other than the fact that Hoid learnt to tell stories with magic sand on a planet that has an abundance of magic sand. Although I am interested as to why the coppermind believes Hoid is talking about Yolen...

I'm a little behind in reading along, and just came across this passage, from when Jewels is fixing Clod: Vivenna heard footsteps on the stairs leading down to the cellar, and then the door opened and Denth appeared. He closed the door, then came over and handed Jewels something that looked like a large wineskin. The woman took it and immediately turned back to her work. Jewels needs body parts. There are dead Idrian soldiers in the basement. Did Denth go downstairs to the cellar to get Jewels spare skin/organs?

My read on the Hoid quote is that it was a reference to Devotion and Dominion who were both splintered on Sel. I think Honor and Ambition are ruled out, because he probably would have said "where A god died" instead of plural. If I remember correctly, weird shenanigans happened on Sel where the Spiritual realm and the Cognitive realm are squished together (which makes traveling there through the cognitive dangerous/impossible) which would seem to fit the "where two worlds meet" part. Unrelated: What if "Unite Them" means all the shards, and Dalinar will be the new Adonalsium? Biiiig papa!
