I love my pair. The heel counter isn't a problem for me, but then again, I never found the Norda 001 heel to be bad either.

This is great feedback and I'm glad the heel counter isn't an issue for you. Hope you're doing well and crushing those PRs!

Had my 1st run in these today, no issues great ride . Strange how some people has issues with the heal and others no issue's at all? I guess foot shape is the reason .

It is really peculiar. I've had other shoes where I've had no issue at all but others have. So strange!

This shoe is very tempting and despite the heel counter issues, seems like a really fun one to run. I have been eyeing to get a more race oriented shoe for my upcoming marathon and was thinking whether Asics Magic Speed or the Mach X would be a good options. I am still deciding... :)

I have yet to run in or review Asics shoes but I've heard good things about the Magic Speed. There are some solid options! Let us know what you choose and how it works out.

It’s a fatal flaw and not the only one. It absolutely tore up my heel, but I still tried to make it work by using a runners loop for better lock down and even trying mole skin to protect my heel, but nothing worked. Additionally the outsole has no durability. It was already wearing a hole down to the mid sole in under 20 miles! Fortunately my running store is good about taking returns.

Thanks for providing your feedback and experience. Hopefully you can find another shoe that is at least as fun to run in but without any issues.

Will this be ok to run a marathon in?

Bearing no major Achilles heel rubbing or issue, I think it would be great to run a marathon!
