HOKA NAZ Elite WORKOUT: Final Preparation Before 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials Marathon

Earlier this month, we made a trip to Tempe, Arizona to follow the HOKA Northern Arizona Elite marathoners as they made their final tune-ups before the 2024 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials in Orlando, Florida on Feb. 3.
HOKA NAZ Elite will have Futsum Zienasellassie (2:09:40 PB); Nick Hauger (2:12:59 PB); Aliphine Tuliamuk (2:24:37 PB and 2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials champion); Kellyn Taylor (2:24:28 PB); Lauren Hagans (2:25:55 PB) and Stephanie Bruce ( 2:27:47 PB) competing for a spot on the U.S. team for Paris. The top three men and women at trials are expected to make up the team for the Games.
Zienasellassie, Hauger, Hagans, Tuliamuk, Taylor did four miles at marathon effort, 10 miles steady (with surges at miles 3, 6 and 9) and four miles at marathon effort at the end. Bruce did a 10-mile tempo run.
