I tried this one on and it did feel great. I decided to save a few dollars and went with the Mizuno Neo Vista instead. Are you planning to pick that one up?

Your friend hobby jogger Yowana loves this shoe. He says it is the shoe of 2024 so far for marathon training😊…. This shoe will get you to breaking 3 mission of yours. You just need to put in the work….. thousands of miles… please no. My aim or each shoe is to get to 500 miles, and toss it. That is my only inspiration to run, to buy new shoes, inspire to run for fitness, and 500 miles last 4-5 months for me. $225 on a shoe is well worth it. That’s just $40-50 per month. My previous gym membership by itself was over $100 per month which I cancel, to focus on road running. I am saving money. Now I need to get this clunky nimbus25 to 500 miles, and buy a Hoka skyward X. 😊
@MidLifeRunner4 ай бұрын
This shoe is definitely for you if you take all your shoes to 500. I just hit 500 in the prime x strung . I am going to get this one up there also

I picked up this shoe and took it out for the first run today. Loved it. Super stable, bouncy without being mushy and wants me to run faster! It’s a keeper!

SC trainer V2 is terrible for me. Soft and unstable at any speed below Tempo killing my calfs and Achilles tendon. Cielo X1 works great for me.
@MidLifeRunner4 ай бұрын
Yeah the instability of the v2 is a deal breaker . I bring it out on an occasional run but if I run too much in it, my shins begin to ache
@troutjunkie73304 ай бұрын
I tried it at Dicks last weekend. The most comfy shoe ever. Better than SC Trainer v2 but the price, ouch. Figured I'll find online for cheaper. Nope. Heading back to store tomorrow
@MidLifeRunner4 ай бұрын
Yeah maybe in a year it will go on sale - but then again the Superblast never went on sale so maybe it won’t . I still walk around in the bondi 6 I bought years ago and it is holding up just fine. These things are tanks

I'm not a total pass because of the weight because I've run in the Nimbus, More v4, and the More v3 was one of my all time favorites. $225 though. I'm going to try the Neo Vista instead, which a few reviewers have said is like a lighter, faster SC Trainer v1.

Since I still have some recovery day miles in my recovery day shoes, I’m hoping that the sky flow is going to be equally awesome shoe though it’s releasing a bit later from Hoka. Great review as always.

You know, I am not a youtuber but you just gave me an idea. They say that to know you are in zone 2 you should be able to speak full sentences without losing your breath, in other words, you need to remain in "conversational pace". So maybe carrying a selfie stick with a camera to pretend I'm a youtuber is a good way to talk while I do my zone 2 runs, otherwise I would look crazy if I'm just talking without a camera😄

This is no where near prime x strung status for softness and not as bouncy as sc trainer v1 either - somewhere between the two with more stability . I like it to absorb the bulk of my recovery miles but it’s #3 on the mad max list

This shoe can go FOREVER. It is a heavy shoe but there is solid energy return. If you’re not up at the front of the pack then I would say it’s a solid shoe for any distance. It will save the legs on longer runs.
