I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 when I was 19 years old. I was cured after chemotherapy for four months. Again, after 13 years cancer has come back to me and again I am preparing for chemotherapy to start next week. I am positive and hopeful to make a come back again by defeating cancer. As it is said here, I had cancer, it never had me. Thanks for the lovely song and the message.

I love this song so much. It brought me to tears the firs time I heard it. I think that everybody should hear this song. It can relate to so much more than just cancer because of he lyrics. I am a cancer survivor and I was diagnosed at age 10. I am 15 now and I have been in remission ever since. I will keep sharing this video and I will sing it at my schools talent show because it is just a beautiful and encouraging song. Remember that life gets better. No matter what. Pray and trust in God.

As a cancer survivor this song and the signs in it are all so true. Its been a year since my confirmed remission but am reminded everyday of the battle I faced and am terrified it will come back. Treatment was aggressive as it was in the last stage of the disease, nearly died twice but am still here and will keep fighting for those who have lost this battle.

Cancer was the worst thing I had to go up against ( i had leukemia and I beat it in 2015 I got diagnosed with it at age one the doctors said I only had I few months left a few years later )I was in the middle of adoption at that time to,there was points were I just wanted to give up and my life would be better but I thought about my family and friends and had to keep fighting for them. I am now age 12 and healthier and stronger than ever. To all the kids and adults with cancer tell it to “back off I have a life to live and I don’t want you to be part of it.” God bless you all and hope you fill better soon.

just before i watched this i got a phone call from one of my life role models, a man named frank who has been in my life since I was 6. He was calling people in his community, telling people he cared about before it got announced at church. He thought of me, he called and after trying to break it in lightly, misleading me a bit since i thought there was something else to be sad about, he told me he had cancer. I held strong until i hung up, then I burst into tears. I didn't stop until now.

Those quotes got to me, I didn't tell anyone I had cancer I didn't know how. Some friends and family still don't know I had cancer. April 14, 2012 was 2 years since my first treatment, it was extremely aggressive in an effort to save my life it was stage 4. I was victorious and am a year into remission the treatment has left me with many reminders biggest of which is that I am scared to start living again in the fear it comes back idk if I could handle the world stopping like that again :/

1:52 is exactly how I am feeling right now, I beat it and it looked like he would too but they have given him a few months if hes lucky. His organs are failing and there is nothing I can do. Let's a person know they are not alone out there. Some have it easier, some harder, and some are no longer here. I thought I would get breast or skin cancer, they both run in our family on paternal and maternal sides, I don't. I have endometrial cancer and am the first person in our family to get it. Maybe some day long after the radiation ends and if nothing worse happens I will be able to say "me" instead of "a person".
