Yeah.. I wouldn't mind going on a vacation and booking maybe a few things to do, like the winetasting(even though I can't stand wine), but overall my definition of a vacation is sleeping in and relaxing. Too much scheduled "fun" and it goes from a vacation to an extended activity weekend. But at the same time if all you wanna do is relax, why pay to relax in an expensive environment when you can relax for a fraction of the price at home? xD

@@wallyjackson9543 No, that's what I meant. Whenever I consider taking a vacation I almost always go "...eh, it's cheaper to stay at home, I'd probably sleep a lot anyways". Obviously a honeymoon is different, and going somewhere exotic and different is very appealing. I was thinking more of your typical holiday vacation. But you can still do something on a vacation and relax. Like that jetski ride Holden took looked really fun, mostly because it's a solo activity and one could escape people for a while. On the flipside that wine tasting thing looked stuffy, forced and uncomfortable. Can't even enjoy the food properly since it's supposed to be a learning experience so you gotta pay attention al lthe time xD

One of my favorite parts of this was the rock climbing portion. You were so determined and nobody knew it 😂 the little girl dropped you were like “alpha threat terminated” I was dying! I also did a wine tasting for the first time recently. I didn't mind it. I also enjoy Scuba diving. My Dad loves it and got me and my brother certified at the earliest age allowable.

You were correct about safety when scuba diving. When you spend time at depth, nitrogen builds in your system. At the end of your dive you do a 3 to 5 minute safety stop at ~ 15 feet to allow your body to decompress before surfacing. Highly recommend doing Beginner Open Water Certification through PADI. Diving in Roatan is A+

Norwegian Cruise lines are by far my favorite ships. Food, bars, casinos, dance clubs, theaters, TONS of stuff to do and great excusions as well. If you guys go on another cruise make sure to check them out for pricing. 10/10. Their alaskan/glacier bay cruise is amazing. yukon train ride / kayaking / glacier hike.

The last cruise I went on was with my family and we went to labadee and a bunch of the different Caribbean islands. This video brought back so many fun memories! Edit: royal Caribbean has lots of different ships that are tailored to the younger community too. I believe the newest ships are the wonder and odyssey which have lots of stuff on the ship like water slides tracks and many cool unique experiences. Reading this back I am realizing I sound like a spokes person for royal but I wouldn’t give up on them yet.

Looks like you guys were on one of the older Royal Caribbean ships based on the visual of the red lifeboats when you were boarding I believe the newer ones are in yellow and agreed those ships seem to be geared towards older people probably because cruising was an older people activity when those ships were constructed holden great video and awesome job on the editing.

You guys gotta go on an Oasis class ship next time! Symphony of the Seas/Wonder of the Seas would have way more fun stuff to do on the boat and cater more towards families/young adults. The smaller ships are definitely catered towards an older crowd.

Cruising in general is a very “old-person” thing to do. It’s not necessarily just Royal Caribbean or your ship that was mainly old people, but most cruises are going to be tailored towards old people. This is due to the fact that cruises are not cheap and most people get money later in life. The exception are Disney Cruises cause those are kind of dedicated for children anyway so you’ll see a lot of different ages there. But other than that, cruises are for most part for older people. I went on a cruise in Alaska and my brother and I who were in our 20’s were generally the youngest people there. I think I saw like 1 kid there the entire time.
