@@willstar1238 Here's the thing. He actually wasnt "acting" to fight slowly. This was Keanu doing his best to hold up with the guys from "The Raid" and Dacascos. He looks incredible against "normal" fighters and stuntmen. But those guys actually even slowed their moves down during shooting. The effect was exactly what you sad. It just wasnt attention to detail. Just Keanu reaching his limit! 😉

A 12 gauge slug is a 0.729 caliber round, for any who may not realize why it's so effective against the armor. Also, Winston was truly trying to protect John. If he honestly wanted John dead, he would've shot him in the head. But Winston is something of a father figure and mentor to John.

This series was so awesome. I'm really bummed that Matrix Resurrection did not utilize Chad for the stunt choreographer and kept him in a bit role as "Tiffany's" fake husband. As an Australian young man myself I loved the John Wick film franchise because it is so awesome, so badass, so entertaining, so fascinating, so intense, and so wild & my favourite one was the first film. Poor John he was orphaned when he was a boy, he lost his childhood joy by being indoctrinated to be trained as a ruthless assassin plus hitman for different criminal organizations, he lost his beloved wife Helen to terminal illness, his first dog Daisy was killed, his friend Harry was killed, his friend Marcus was murdered, his cool vintage car wrecked, his beautiful house blown up, his continental hotel privileges lost, his continental allies turn against him, he lost his reputation, he lost his safety, he lost his ring-finger, & he had to give up his deceased wife’s wedding ring to the Elder of the High Table, what is he going to lose next? absolutely depressing & painful. This poor tough man can’t even a catch a break. The only time he caught a break when he married his wife Helen for five years until she sadly passed away. He lost mostly everything positive in his life. Any normal human being around the world would have committed suicide if they experience those awful tragedies in their life. Like seriously his life is literally a never-ending nightmare absolutely devastating. Life is full of ongoing suffering like seriously it is so not fair that we humans have to experience depressing chapters in our lives, but I guess that is the price of being born alive into this sad wicked world.

Interesting fact because of the wide shots Halle Berry actually had to be part of the dog training to command the 5 Belgian Melinois used for filming. She couldn’t keep the dogs after filming, but she now has 2 trained attack labradoodles. The dogs were not hurt in filming, and neither were the 100 feral cats on on the island they filmed at that had to be captured every night and released in the next day.

Halle's dogs are Belgian Malinois - they look like German Shepherds, but they're more lightly built and faster. Special Forces work with them. Fun fact: if a Navy SEAL attack dog loses a tooth - it's not unusual for them to chip or break, given that they're biting people who often are wearing body armor, and doing a lot of biting and shaking back and forth - they replace it with a titanium tooth. Beyond the strength of the titanium, there is apparently something unnerving about seeing one of these streaking toward you with a mouthful of glittering metal fangs.

Yes it’s not supposed to be story heavy or even really have a complex narrative. It’s purely an excuse to have awesome choreographed actions sequences and stunts. That is the whole reason behind John wick films. The director is a stunt man himself and the dedication to the gun training, the animal training, and the stunts is the whole point. Mostly practical action and over the top violence just to make a real spectacle. Story be damned it’s an action film. But they do have to have a believable reason to get from one action sequence to another.

That way they cut down on the risk of injury and they didn't have to waste time replacing the glass between takes. Fun fact: The production spent a lot of money on digital effects. A lot of spent on digitally removing Keanu Reeves' finger from every shot after John Wick cut it off to get back into the good graces of the High Table.

1. I linked a bunch of the BTS stuff for this movie as well as Hallie training the dogs (she was the dogs trainer, not someone else, they obeyed her) for you to react to. Pretty cool 2.The twins I believe are in the movie "The Raid". Actually shows their true skills, they dumbed it down for this movie. 3.The dog were Belgian Malinois, not German Shepherds.

That big guy is an NBA player named Boban Marjanovic (said like bo-bon mar-jan-o-vic). He is a fan fav wherever he plays, when this movie came out he was with my Sixers. Big goofy guy, and very nice guy from what all his peers say. He has been in other movies, and loves taking acting gigs (believe he wants to be an actor post nba).

It's rare to see a movie pick up where the previous one did and this one did it splendidly. One thing I took away from this movie it that Sophia's dogs complimented her in a way that put her on par with John in terms of skills. In every John Wick movie so far he has been hit by a vehicle at least once and spared someone. And Adams Family! You guys into classics? There are The Dirty Dozen and The Good, The Bad And The Ugly!
