Yes, Apollo, the walls are blocking the bullets. The best way to find out is just look at the shootouts when unit is behind one. U can see bullets crushing into that wall.

Saxony is known for their horse riding skill and they did performed well in Napoleonic Wars.

As I understand it, in NTW everyone was finally leveled for the sake of stupid balance and the only difference is the color of the uniforms. When the light cavalry of the Mamluks, wrapped in rags, destroyed the heavy cuirassiers in seconds ( moreover, the cuirassiers flew into the standing Mamluks ) - logic and realism went out the window and common sense followed them. The Battle of the Pyramids says hello.

@bruh4688 That is how it is supposed to be. I love NTW3. Melee's are generally bad for everyone involved that's why even Elite Grenadier guard might win a melee against lesser units, but they'll be nearly breaking after the melee from how exhausted it is. Because Bayonet charges are rare in actual fighting and a harrowing experience. The proper use of a melee is not to settle your fight between your clearly better Grenadiers against a single enemy opponent but to carefully march a handful of your elite Grenadiers into the middle of the enemy line, where when you win the fight, sure a few of your units break and affect little, but when their units break they cause a chain rout amongst their entire line. Moreover, your melee's go even better when supported by the General's influence. I dont think any Line Battle strategy game is more realistic and methodical than the mod NTW3.
