Some uniform notes for Apollo: -Yes, white unitmforms are cheaper. In fact, in 1810 some French regiments were supplied white coats because of the British-induced scarcity. -Blue trousers (breaches, really) in austrian troops means they are Hungarian.

I thought Napoleon experimented with the white uniforms, but got rid of them because they reminded him of the monarchy

@jasons.7506 not quite. Apparently the men hated them, but the main reason they were abandoned was that the economic situation improved, making blue dye available again. They saw most of their combat use in the Peninsula, where uniforms were quite chaotic.

Something I'd love to see in this game would be a custom 4v4 map that's 90% city. A map made up of buildings where the armies have to fight an urban war.

This battle reminds me why Apollo was so invested in Napoleon TW. When you have good players these battles are so realistic and exciting! Less cartoonish than stoopid whtw that's for sure.

It was because the red fabric was cheapest during the English Civil war when the first full time professional English army was formed.

Guys just to note out that saxons broke the rule of the game which was to help that guy on the right flank attack that second small village, the rules of this scenario said that it was supposed to be 1 on 1 fight there and rest of the fight taken for that main settlement. Well he stopped when he was asked for the second time but stil... Cool battle as usual with great commentery but Apollo, u could at least show the results :( If you lost it remember you have people you can ask to resend it to you ;)

I,m subscribed to both of you guys.Artillery back than was the King of the Battlefield. Always like Massing my Artillery at long range, whittling down the enemy with that to push them back and take my Objectives, than connect all my Objectives with all my Units, Artillery and Infantry Units massed position in such a way I obliterate/break all enemy Units that attack and try to retake the Objectives. Tactic is just how you mass your"""FIREPOWER""' while at the same time Cancelling out the enemies Firepower and setting them up into a Killing Zone

Why do the ranks of a line infantry unit in this mod all shoot, iirc only the front 2 ranks shoot in vanilla, which, from my understanding, is realistically the typical pattern of Napoleonic era armies? Seems like a very odd thing to change, when so many other changes are focused on more realism.

I literally can't find answers anywhere so maybe here I will get an answer, why does it say the NTW3 Patch 3 has a file called "Hack.32" in it. My defender keeps saying it's a virus and refuses to let me download it even after I say to keep it anyway
