Or maybe she was laying the ground work for why she didn't know the guy was up to no good in her salon. She only mentioned it once and never brought it up again just to make the judge understand why she wasn't around. It doesn't even seem like she wanted to mention it in the end until the interviewer guy asked her and all she mentioned is how it was out of her control.

Kudos to the defendant for calling out the judge. Judges are supposed to demonstrate the same level of decorum they expect the litigants to display and that often gets away from judge Milian. That basically means don't use phrases or treat the litigants in a way you wouldn't want them to speak to the judge or treat them. Also whatever perceived crimes they have committed does not exempt the judge from treating people with respect.
@JayyThao
@JayyThao 5 ай бұрын
The judge is sick and tired of people coming to court without any type of proof so yes, she’s entitled to use the phrase “flapping gums”. The defendant is probably one of the most thin skinned individuals I’ve ever seen. You can’t control what people do or say, but you can’t control how you react to it.

It's litigation, you need PROOF when 2 people are telling 2 completely opposing stories. The whole point is SOMEONE is lying and the only way to determine who, is to have evidence. So, in essence, the Judge really does need something more than "flapping gums". It's not rude, it's a fact.

I of course don't have any courtroom experience, but a simple fact of logic says that if you have beef with the way the judge speaks to you, you can file a complaint after the case has been heard. Hostility toward the judge during the case never pays whether it's justified or not. If the judge crossed the line, then they should be dealt with through due process and not litigant hostility.

She’s the judge, put in MUCH more work in life to get there. Judge Judy would’ve told that arrogant back talking B to go to law school, after college with a good GPA, + a high LSAT SCORE AND THEN PASS THE BAR if she wants to rule her opinion on something…then she would have THROWN HER BiA$$ out for for contempt of court (most judges would too, even outside of TV BTW) and would have ruled for the other party…Milian was actually nice for even entertaining what that lady said and addressing it, then the lady KEPT acting entitled…so no good deed goes unpunished, Milian should have thrown her ahole out.
