The plaintiff says he’s known the defendant for a few years and loaned her money off and on. She hasn’t repaid the most recent loan, and he claims it’s because she has the hots for him and wants to keep him interested. He’s suing to get his money back. The defendant says the plaintiff did a poor job on renovating her bathroom, so she says they’re even financially.

Here's the real story: She borrowed money and couldn't pay it back so she offers a scheme. He'll cook up an invoice for her landlord and they'll both share in the proceeds of their scam. When his ex started dying, she refused to pay him the loan, if one ever existed, because the scam never went through.
