It’s beautiful Marnie! We are a mixed faith family and celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah! I know it’s crazy and our grandparents are rolling in their graves but it works for us! I hope your holidays are fabulous!

I’ve watched her decorate her home for Hanukkah for many years on KZbin, and each time it gives me “Chills Of The Good Kind” to see...and I was raised in the Catholic Faith, brought up Christian to know and love some mighty fine Jewish people that are just as proud of their beliefs as others are. Rightly so that we all “Love One Another” said a Jewish man named, “Jesus!” It pleases God that Marnie does this, as well! 🥰👍❤️❄️

An FYI for the bargain hunter, the light up garland on the mantle has been sold at Costco the last 4 years in a row for 49 a string (9 ft) I’ve been adding to my stash each year because it’s sooooo gorgeous.

Oh wow! Happy Hanukkah 🕎! Very pretty bow and Menorah on the mantel. Love all the blue and white and silver. Wonderful to see the old family memories mixed with new stuff. I like how the blue bow theme carries through. We had a very healthy very naughty Samoyed who persistently ate underwear and socks, dish rags etc. At first it terrified me but our vet told me to give him oatmeal porridge with a bit of olive oil as a chaser. He seemed to pass it all just fine. He is long gone but the memories are clear. I remember my first tear filled call to the vet, but by the 3rd time I no longer needed the vet to talk me down. I stopped buying expensive stuff to wear longer & went for socks and underwear and dishrags that were cheap and digestible for the white fur ball’s enjoyment of life. 😂👍❤️ I’m not recommending that but he had a cast iron digestion and he thrived on his chosen diet. Our other Sammy didn’t do that which was good because he had the most delicate stomach and he wouldn’t have survived. Rowdy brings back memories even though he is tan colour and short hair. He has a twinkle of mischief that Nicky had too. I recognize that look.
