Soooo many ideas for me to “borrow”. Your various displays reflect a home well loved, cared for and full of tradition. I grew up in a home with pretty much the exact same mirrored piece as you have in your hall which was passed down from your mother-in-law. Brought back many precious memories of my own beloved mother sitting in front of it doing her skin care. Your little gift to me!🙏.

Love your Menorah collection; I have several vintage ones from my mother, both grandmothers, my aunt, the one I received when I left home, and one I made in Sunday School. We have a blended family, so we celebrate Hanukkah and X-Mas, so we have started the tradition of having Moshe, the Mensch on the Bench and the Elf on the shelf . I’m going to miss the shenanigans that our family (we usually have 20+ people at the house) gets into when everyone is at our house for both our holiday celebrations. Next year I hope we can return to our family traditions! Happy Hanukkah to you and Happy and safe New Year!

Hi, where did you get the Electric Menorah that is on your fireplace mantel? *Question: Do you and others you know, keep their Electric Menorah completely on after the the 8th day ... throughout the winter holidays??? @@MsGoldgirl So it's OK for me to keep it "Completely Lit" on my Window sill? I'm just curious because this is my first year displaying it after Hanukkah and Completely Lit!!... And I'm so proud and Happy of my Jewish ancestry, I want to keep it lit in my Window for the holidays... But I walked around my neighborhood the day after the 8th day of the Light Festival of Hanukkah... And noticed everyone did not kept theirs lit after the 8th day or took them completely out of their window sills. I was thinking, maybe it's because they being Older Folks and follow older traditions. So I wanted a younger persons advice around my age on this!! *All I need is an Elder neighbor to knock on my door and tell me it's not kosher to display an electric Menorah and at that after Hanukkah and Lit!! 🤦🤷

Thanks Marnie, for this video. Happy Hanukkah. I love learning about Jewish cultural traditions. I have always been fascinated by how much of Jewish traditions had been adopted in orthodox Christianity: 7-candle candelabra, the holy fire etc. I am not Jewish but have been wondering how it comes that my granny used to cook the yummy potato pancakes and vorschmack :)

Beautiful The hutch would look beautiful painted deep navy. An online store called To The Nines has Caspari 6" slim metalic birthday candles that might look great in you acrylic menorah. Then if you put a touch of coconut oil around the candle the wax should wipe off

i just found your youtube, its great ....but...we live out in the middle of central oregon and we have 1 target, 1 michaels...and ZERO , yes i said ZERO hanukah decor in either places....its a good thing( we just moved here under a year ago) i have bins and bins of my decor from when we lived in san francisco...otherwise id be pretty annoyed....amazon will have to be the place.....oy!.. i have all the menorahs the kids made while growing up and ones we have collected thru time.....love putthing them all out, and our friends really enjoy seeing a hanukah collection....
