A few months ago, he was punched in the face by a violent homophobe while he was in Itaewon with his manager. 😢 I’m still fairly new to his fandom myself, but I know that being an openly gay idol in Korea is kind of dangerous because it is a very conservative, homophobic society. So I am very proud and have a lot of respect for him for representing the LGBT community in South Korea.

This podcast is the best I've ever seen, seriously! Junny (I'm addicted more than usual lately to your songs), Peniel (i love you SO bad) and the girl i still don't know (ashley, you're amazing and i think i love you already) but i'm going to find out about why i loved her have incredible energy and are super understanding, sweet and sincere. As a fan of Get Real and Holland it was so good to see him do an interview sort of thing like this! I Found Holland when he first debuted and I started sobbing. I was in i think middle school and at the time was struggling with coming out at school and peoples not so great responses. To this day I’m still greatful for Holland, he means a lot to me lol.

He came out and said exactly what sexuality he was a lot of K-pop artists don't come out and say that even though there is a lot of them out there that are actually are secretly about there sexuality K-pop idols we don't even know about. Like for the fan comments, even tho it says "boyfriend" I hope they don't assume it's a girl automatically. Love the different types of people we've been getting on the podcast Holland is such an interesting person who's willing to be the one to be open to be criticized by his whole country just for the next generation. He's also pretty honest about what he likes and doesn't like and I hope that helps people learn that yes you can be seen as too blunt or mean but honestly it's best especially with love. I hope Ashely listens to what he says money will matter for us older who look to get married or just want a stable partner who loves us. Love only is great when you're young because you not fully responsible yet. So Lol I wish I didn't miss BM so much I'm always thinking how much he would have enjoyed talking to the recent guest.
