I'm glad I'm not on my own about having things so neat in my garden. My son's girlfriend commented last year on how perfect my rows of radishes were, and had no idea how much joy that gave me lol One of my other joys whilst watching your vlogs is seeing your dog running around living his best life. He's having so much fun!

I am no stranger to those 8" spikes and rebar! I built a 40' retaining wall between my house and driveway, 5 rows high, in 1995 , then 4, 4 x 8' , 5 tier high raised bed flower beds up to Girl Scout Camp in 2001. When I saw you driving that first piece of rebar, I thought, Good Lord, find some young fella to do that!!! Almost 100 spikes alone!! On a good note, It's done, and am thinkin you can skip your annual visit to the Doctor!! You never cease to amaze Hollis TYFS and Stay Safe and Well, That came out perfect. Mark and Rosa

My goodness Hollis! That was a HUGE project! Watching you pound in 4ft rebar made MY arms hurt. God bless you for staying so active. That was a lot of work. Your projects are great motivation for us small gardeners. I stopped complaining about ANY of the work I do in my 450sqft garden after watching what you're doing in Florida. Do you put any other flowers in the perimeter? For good pollination? Do you have any plans for bee keeping? Crazy question, I know. But with the amount of planting you do, a small one or two box operation could be beneficial. Just my 2 cents. Thank you both for such inspirational videos!

My wife and I love you guys! We think you're so great. I built a melon trellis like the one you had at your homestead V1. It came out pretty close to what you had. I made a couple of errors but It's out there with some cucumber and cantaloupe starting on it. They haven't reached the cattle panel just yet but they're getting there. I hope you guys have a blessed day too! :)

Amen👍 .. If you use 2ft rebar it will hold just as good and less driving and predrill the holes 1/2 the size of the spikes ..it will still hold and won't split the ties later and again easier to drive 😊 I just transformed my garden ( about the same size as yours) into 2 raised beds made from roofing metal 3ft T x 4ft W x 20ft L ..and an A frame gutter trellis for the strawberries 95% free had to buy the lumber and guttering..the raised beds are filled with mulch (a friend has a tree company) then capped with weed cloth and topped 12" with 4 y.o compost 😊 .. I'm unable to get down and harvest anymore.😟 Thank you Lord for over flowing blessings and what looks to be a bountiful harvest 🙏🙏😊👍

Hey Hollis and Nancy, We are going to outline our new garden beds, and wonder if railroad ties are better than 2 timbers stacked on top of each other. The cost is similar, and I'm wondering if it would be easier to use railroad ties. What are your thoughts? Thank you!
