Which thing? This was such a great video, detailed, explained and showed everything. Not sure if the potatos I have are "determinate". I'll read more comments. Does it hurt the potatoes if bugs eat the leaves? I'm guessing those flowers get fertilized. Looked like they were in shade most of the time. Full sun? I've got a sweet potato slip I want to try too.

Hollis and Nancy, I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am that I stumbled upon your videos tonight. It's now 3:36 am and I'm STILL watching! LOL Right now I'm steadily taking notes on how to grow taters in the 5 gal buckets. Besides loving how incredibly informative you are, I'm especially excited because ya'll are the first veggie growers I've found on YT that's even remotely close to me...I'm just outside of Warrenton in Virginia, so everything you're teaching actually applies to Meeee! One question though...WHEN should I start my buckets? Today is Thursday, March 28th...it's still in the 20s & 30s in the mornings but into the 50s, 60s, and even a couple of 70s by about 1 or 2 in the afternoon the last couple of weeks. Thank you so very much for sharing your talents and giving so much of your time to us. Making these videos can be very time-consuming so I don't know how you can make these and still have time to do all your other gardening too...I'm impressed! I'm a disabled granny who's looking at some intense health issues coming down the pike (1st of 3 surgeries coming April 19th), but you have me all amped up and excited about getting some successful gardening done in between recoveries. If all goes well, I won't be AS disabled as I am right now and I'm blessed to have help from one of my sons. You both are a Godsend and you've given me something to look forward to. Bless you both for showing up on my path when you did. All in God's time, right? Right! I look forward to your response and to watching the rest of your videos. I have sooo much to learn!

Fantastic video. The two of you are a blessing to all of us trying to learn to garden in these food worrisome times.

Thank you for your clear instructions and explanations of what a person would ask. Love, love, love that the cost is so low to create and maintain this plant. Thank you!!!
