thats really overthinking it. theres probably just an entrance to the abyss near nosk's lair, as you can even see the remnaints of the ancient civilization there (as there is a part of deepnest near nosks lair neighbouring with basin, having the color palette and looks of basin containing sharp shadow charm) also COME ON the whole dementia and wyrm thing is literally just from wiki OF A WHOLE ANOTHER GAME! i cannot make this up man

yes but the pale king was wyrm so even if its a different game there still the same creature witch means the pale king can get dementia.

Hey ! So, I have a few problems with this theory. But just so you know, these are friendly debunks, not hate debunks and these debunks probably aren’t perfect either :) First of all, why would the pale king have dementia ? It’s never stated anywhere in the game that the pale king has some sort of dementia. I’m also not a fan of how you’re taking info from wyrms in general as canon for the game. Even saying that the void tricked him into not closing the door would be more reasonable I think x). Another thing that bugs me is how you implied that the King’s brand is like a concept (?) like when you’re approved by the Pale King or the White lady you can somehow unlock the door, or maybe you meant they give you the kings brand, I’m not sure. Either way this doesn’t really make sense, both the PK and the White Lady say they have shame in what they did with the vessels. Ogrim, one of the most trusted person of the PK doesn’t know the existence of the Abyss and the vessels, we can argue he doesn’t know about the kings brand either. I personally think the Kings brand is a singular item, the knight has it and no one else can have it (my opinion) which would mean Hornet doesn’t have it and can’t interact with the door, Therefor basically debunking the theory Also, if the door was always open, vessels would’ve started leaving the Abyss while people were still around in the city of tears since, as we know, after THK was sealed the infection stopped for a while and people were normal as well as the pale king, the white Lady and Hornet. They would have sealed the door and hunted the remaining vessels the more likely explanation is just that there’s a secret exit through Deepnest, explaining why nosk has so many vessel corpses and why the sharp shadow charm in deepnest clearly has void

Yeah, there are definitely holes in the theory, but tbh that goes with all theories. Maybe one day team cherry will finally admit that pale king does actually have dementia.
