Yeah, he helped a lot; though the others were also good at following through on the coordination, and also helped pinpoint his location quite accurately a number of times. This team of hunters seemed especially good at devising Fireb0rn's route.

There’s no way to 100% know where he is at all times. If he gets only one item they can assume he hasn’t gotten it yet and just wait for when he gets there(it happened with lantern in this video) Blue did a great job.

Then he sets a dreamgate at a dreamer, right out of their view, does the boss fight before they can get to him, then leave before getting the dreamer, set the gate at black egg, then get the actual dreamer. All the while the hunters are like “wtf is going on???”

Hes mentioned before that he has been trying to figure out a ruleset/formula for this for awhile without it being completely boring. I agree I want to see it but I respect that he has identified that the much longer ending + the fact that it makes it hard for the hunters to actually track him will make it hard to be fun/competitive

Here is a concept for maps. If you want to you could sacrifice time to buy a map part from conifer, And the map shows if one of the hunters are in the area (without ink and quill it will just show a compass shell sprite). if you buy ink and quill you can see exactly how many people are there, or alternatively exactly where the closest hunter is in that area.

I always love these videos and their action-heavy direction -- but I really miss the feel of the first couple hunter vs speedrunner videos. It would be really cool to eventually see an episode or two of this with a different ruleset that focuses a lot more on informational warfare and deceptive play rather than constant duels!

Honestly, I think fire should be in the voice call again. It allows for faster communication than typing, as well as it might change his plans in reaction to theirs, whether it works or not. It was also hilarious in the old ones when he would quip at them, or tease them while doing something!

It is nice in terms of content for fire to be able to engage in trash talk with the hunters, but at the same time letting the hunters freely communicate and strategize without worrying about giving Fire too much info is better for the competition itself. Plus, keeping Fire in the dark just makes more sense in terms of game design I think. Makes things more tense for him when he doesn’t know for sure what any of them are doing at any given time.

Fire was surely panicking there, because he had NO way of knowing whether they left or not, if they were waiting right outside the room to ambush him, or what. If he was in the call, he could listen to them and work out a good time to escape. Although, the hunters could use it against him and pretend like they left, only to ambush him when he thinks they're gone.

A pitch for a game mode that's less reliant on checkpoints and has more opportunities for big brain plays on both sides: Speedrunner is racing not to beat the game, but to collect 20 charms as fast as possible. However, the speedrunner can't use the charms they collect, and the hunters can (so as the game goes on, hunters have more build options).

They almost had him at Resting grounds haha. They seem too scattered this time where only one person finds him at a time. They should've pushed him every time he got a dreamer or before that. Early game and late game is when they should be hella aggressive. Also should've divided the last fight into pairs where in two are ready at the entrance at all times while there are two inside the fight and when one dies another enters type shit. Good game to the God Gamers though. That was a fun watch

One thing I think would be a funny version of this would be hunters being allowed to enter boss rooms, but they have friendly fire and must mute when they enter a boss room, so instead of being a normal boss fight or an unfair gang-up it's a balancing act of how many hunters should attack before they're hurting each other more than Fire. I know from the Godhome Among Us thing that you can handle one PVPer while fighting a boss.

It'd be really cool to see one of these where the Hunters get a constant lifeline, but the lifeline is just some person who doesn't know Hollow Knight but who gets to hear all your sounds, trying to replicate them. Imagine someone just going "oh there's a lot of thumping" "That's probably gruz mother!" and that sorta thing. I think it'd be a unique test of player knowledge lol
