Hollyleaf had a perfect life before the 'Crowleaf' secret and the fact that she wasn't the three. She never knew cats near her couldn't look at her straightly, she didn't notice Leafpool or Squirrelflight looking away with guilt. However, when the secret was revealed by Squirrelflight, she snapped. She killed Ashfur and threatened Leafpool with death berries. She also told the secret to all of the cats in the gathering. But then, she felt horrible and guilty after all of that. Because of that guilt, she exiled herself. So sad and broke with grief, misery, and rage, she was found by Fallen Leaves who helped her to realize something special. Something to help her go living. However, she still felt something in her heart that she didn't deserve Thunderclan when she returned. To prove herself again, she sacrificed her life to save Ivypool. Because of this, she's my favourite cat. Btw, THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST PMVS IN THE COSMOS

I noticed, as Hollyleaf jumped toward Ashfur to y'know.. kill him. The butterfly had flown Infront of him, same with Leafpool. Leafpool was threatened by deathberries (i think), and Ashfur was killed by holly. The butterfly symbolizes death, as it's the same colors as death berries.

I'm months late but wow. Awesome use of lyrics and symbolism! "I was born this way/in such a taut assimilation of mistakes" at 1:37, showing her mom and aunt feeling guilty. Realizing her parentage is a lie and that her birth broke the warrior code is what made her do the things she did, and this moment shows that so well. The first "Just leave me down here/down where the truth won't go" as she's struggling to take in what Squirrelflight is saying is so fitting. And the same lyric again at 2:08 as she's spiraling, surrounded by Ashfur's blood, which she spilt in an attempt to cover up the truth. (Speaking of the blood, I love how the tears/blood recur throughout the video. Usually engulfing Hollyleaf as she's overwhelmed by the situation, but then trailing behind her at 2:52 as she runs from it all. So cool.) There's even more moments that got to me but I'll make myself stop here lol. (I adore The Dear Hunter AND Glass Animals so this was a treat)

My eyes straining while watching this : “Look away!” (Haha get it) My monkey brain: “No, I don’t think I will.” All jokes aside, this looks awesome!!! My eyes strain easily, but inconveniently styles like this are so aesthetic. I ADORE the eyes!!! I love how much emotion the eyes portray, with how her eyes get drippy, like the actual organ is melting. I really love it!!! Although I can’t watch animations since they strain my eye, and the colors strain them even more, I love this. Seriously. The red outline and neon green teeth on Hollyleaf, and the other outlines with other characters are so obscure and really compliment each other! Seriously, great job. I’ll have to check out more of your stuff, your art just really suits my style. Expressive and stylized in an obscure and funky way, I love it.
