I had the pleasure of running alongside Mr Sutherland a few times in Central Park. He was a big lad indeed, and wasn’t afraid to sweat and I gradually overtook him. Very gradually… lol love a fellow Canadian Maritimer. ❤

I never thought he was ugly. What a terrible thing for a mother to say to a son! I always thought he had an interesting, handsome face in an off beat way. Really incredible actor.

Right?! Esp w/a beard he was downright hunky. Plus Kiefer looks so much like his dad it’s eery…and Kiefer was Jack GD Bauer. One sexy-albeit kinda scary🤭-man. How could Donald be ugly or unattractive? Unattractive-Donald Sutherland pulls attention in every scene…he’s attractive.

He should’ve received an Oscar for his role as MR. X in J.F.K. Just an excellent performance! It’s only a 12 minute scene or so but it’s so good. I thought the movie was running a bit slow until he walked on screen and just grabbed my attention.

Thank you so much for this episode. I’m so happy to see you talk about a fellow Canadian. What you won’t know about his wife Shirley Douglas is that her father was Tommy Douglas. He was the politician who brought universal healthcare to Canada. So Keifer Sutherland had a very illustrious family in this country.

Ahhhhh... nice to hear the sweetest sibilance on YT once more and to hear this finely crafted tribute to this very fine actor, who made an early impression on me for his standout depiction of the traumatised father in Nic Roeg's 'Don't Look Now'. There are not many actors whose work I have actively sought out along my life line but Mr Sutherland has been one of them. I think he had/ has a sincerity and warmth to him, that is extremely evident when you watch his performances. I rewatched Fellini's 'Casanova' a few months ago and he dazzled in that dazzling, dreamlike film. Many thanks. I will have to try and do a bit of catch-up on your latest videos, now ✨

I never thought Donald was unattractive - those eyes!! And Kiefer is sexy & very handsome, too... he has his dad's eyes! I loved them both in "A Time To Kill" and my favorite Donald Sutherland character is Lucian Wilbanks.

I always thought long, lanky Donald Sutherland was handsome in a nonclassical way. Give me a soulfully intriguing face every time over pretty boy looks (with the exception of Rufus Sewell and Greek God Robert Plant). Oh, those intelligent Sutherland eyes and those dimples. I spotted him in some early 1960s reruns of The Saint, and maybe Danger Man and the Avengers. Thanks to Donald & other cast members, the remake of the Invasion of the Bodysnatchers was the only remake of which I can think that was better than the original. PS: Another fine video -- this goes without saying every flippin' time!

WHAT A KELLY S HERO ...a near-zero. Very overrated. Always on borderline lunacy such as in THE DAY OF LOCUST (Schle, 75). Plenty of better male actors gone recently. Eby goes. The only question is when (= Paul Newman s line 1 sec bef getting shot by a sniper, last min of HOMBRE 1967 by Ritt).
