My living papaw, a Vietnam veteran, served from 1967-1971, just so happened to be on a flight back home in 1969, and a certain crooner who hosted this special was on that plane. He sat right next to my papaw and had kindly thanked him for his continuing service! Papaw had never told me this until a few months ago during a visit. I'll have to show him this when I see him on Christmas eve! (Following COVID Guidelines, obviously)

artistmac Bings first wife was an alcoholic, and produced children. Gary admitted he could not recall the rubbish he wrote about his father, in a false novel.
