I did not know how much I needed this right now. This is great. Commercials and all. Simpler times.

i'd love to know how many people were actually in those audiences. when i was a kid I thought it was huge. now looking at it, i'll bet fifty tops. smoke and mirrors. the building is still there and is a club or restaurant of some sort.

The quality of everything in these shows was stunning. They came along before I was here but I was addicted to these shows. They did not mess around.

Cher's outfit is so dumpy - strange. She made up for it later.

Great stuff! I loved 'Batman' growing up; I was 10 when it premeired. Adam West was quite the song and dance man! This may be the closest thing we'll ever see to a 'Batman' musical. Thanks for posting this.

I remember 'Hollywood Palace' and loved 'Hogan's Heroes'. Amusing appearance here; strange to see the cast of a CBS show on ABC, but 'Hogan' was a Bing Crosby Production!

I'm dying laughing.... those men performing with Joey Heatherton look like total asshats, and are PAINFULLY out of sync with her. What made anyone think she needed them in the first place?

Herbie grew up in the Fairfax neighborhood of LA, not far from the Hollywood Palace theater. About 2 1/2 miles as the crow flies. And sorry Nancy Sinatra, but the white go go boots look better on Barrie.

I was seven years old and I remember my parents watching this show! I definitely remember Sunny and Cher back then. I never understood why people thought Milton was funny. I guess you had to be a grown-up to understand his humor. 😂
