Having been to Hollyweird, I'm aware of these predators. I went through pretty prestigious acting classes, but I was sent to a tryout for a film. At the audition, I was asked to remove my shirt, which I did. Then, they asked me to remove my pants, which I refused. They asked me why not, this was a pron movie after all. No one told me that I was auditioning for "that" kind of him. Our country fixates on the WRONG THINGS. I'm Cherokee and was mostly raised by my Cherokee/Pikuni Blackfoot grandmother and my Cherokee grandfather. My HEROES were men like Will Rogers, Sitting Bull, and my Cherokee grandfather. Sitting Bull had a very powerful message about Americans and they're greed. "The love of possessions is a disease with them." He's talking about Americans. My N8V grandparents taught me this; Use things, not people. Love people, not things. My Pikuni Blackfoot great-grandfather and my Cherokee grandfather are the ones who gave me my naming ceremony. I'm pretty sure I'm the only Cherokee that has a Blackfoot name. Those 2 men taught me that being a warrior was not about what you have it's about what you give away. This was an interesting video, sgi for sharing it.

The fatty thing is so sad. Virginia Rappee had a chronic UTI, and died from peritonitis, which was exacerbated by drinking. Fatty Arbuckle never did anything and was made a scapegoat. All of these old Hollywood stories are so tragic. Great video!

A lot of people owe Cory Feldman an apology
@splashenful23 күн бұрын
No they do not. Feldman was not the hero that he made himself out to be. He only came forward because Corey Haim outed him on their reality show 'The 2 Coreys' as being friends with a pedophile. Much of the stories Feldman had told about Corey Haim's abuse were lies. Haim only had one abuser, & that abuser was introduced to Haim by none other than Mr. Feldman. If anybody should be credited with exposing sexual abuse in the entertainment industry, that person should be Corey Haim, **NOT** Corey Feldman.

I was obsessed with the Cosby show. But looking back, there is an episode where Cosby is on the couch talking to Lisa bonet, one of his daughters on the show. And at the end of the conversation, right before the scene ends, they give each other a very healthy kiss on the lips. As a child at the time, I thought that was weird 😅

PRESSURE NEEDS TO BE ON THE INDUSTRY At the same time, a KZbinr who did a documentary on Dan Schneider had the following to say... On the topic of how come victims don't come forward. His response: You're basically asking someone to relive their trauma. Which is understandable. Wondering if child actors are a part of the Screen Actors Guild...Then there's how laws vary. Be aware that some shows were shot in Florida and not in California.

'Pretty Baby' starring Brooke Sheilds was about the daughter of a prostitute who was working in a brothel and Sheild's character was auctioned off because she was a virgin. 'Lolita' is about a college professor who falls in love with the underage daughter (in the book, she's 12) of his landlady, whom he marries, to remain close to Lolita. The mother is killed in a traffic accident and things get worse from there. Brooke Sheilds was very young and underage in the film, but the women who've played Lolita were of legal age. I don't recall 'Pretty Baby' that well, but in 'Lolita', the kinkiest thing James Mason does to Sue Lyons is paint her toenails. Both stories are meant to be shocking and concerning taboo subjects. Not condoning anything, just clarifying.

We can all learn from this abuse: Reject blind loyalty to those with wealth and power, and always try to maintain a critical perspective. It's like Catholicism and many Christian sects. The face value is angelic innocence. The underlying motives are domination and subjugation, sometimes even with minors (i.e. molestation).
