Movie theaters have taken a hit ever since the average family can install a 4K TV in their living room and save money by not paying $20+ on tickets, $10 for popcorn $8 for a Coke. The Chosen was way ahead of the Curve. 175+ countries are able to view the series. Thats wild.

As much as I think Hollywood worships money I do think the push to have more faith based content is good for our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, good for the country to turn people’s eyes toward God and maybe do the same for people in the industry. I hope this is a cultural trend that brings our society closer to God and saves people

I deleted my Netflix account simply because the content was mostly based on witchcraft, sex, using Gods name in vain, vile language & homosexuality. As a Christian it is very difficult to find good quality films to watch. The Chosen is such a great series.

This is only partial. I wonder sometimes if movies in theaters are also failing because there's too much content released ahead of the actual release that potential audiences get fatigued. And then for those who show up, the movie doesn't live up to the hype

I don’t think that movie theaters are closing because of the movies and that’s because they make money off of food and drinks and i think that people are gonna be running into theaters to see movies like Deadpool and wolverine, bad boys: ride or die, alien Romulus and even borderlands (with Kevin hart) and twisters But there will be on digital like very shortly because of advanced technology unlike the old days where you would have to wait for months just to see that movie on dvd or vhs.

I think there’s a number of factors. The economy sucks, people can barely afford groceries, they aren’t going to have discretionary income to go to the theaters With Covid and direct to streaming, some people would rather wait for content to become available to stream to watch at home instead of going out Hollywood seems to be creatively stunted. A lot of the recent releases have been established IP and even then, people are tired of the same old thing The Chosen has upped the game for faith based media. People wanna see good stuff. You used to think of faith based media and associate corny cheesy content that has a good message but the acting and the content sucks so it wasn’t massively popular.

I’m not a the chosen fan at all and its not for me but I am a horror fan and I liked Madame web when I watched it on Netflix when it first came to Netflix and I think Hollywood will bounce back because of summer movie season. I’m lookin forward to watching bad boys ride or die and Beverly Hills cop: axel foley and saving bikini bottom: the sandy cheeks movie (both on Netflix) and bad boys ride or die is gonna make a lot of monev because it’s been a few years after the last one came out and it’s the second since the incident with Chris rock and will smith I personally grew up watching bad boys since I was little and out of the 4 bad boys movies…the second one is my favorite. I hope you guys make more videos on this one
