Hi Arthur! I wanted to give you a ton of kudos for this series, it’s incredibly well done, classy as well as respectful, and extremely informative! Very well researched! I learned a lot about a ton of big names I knew only by their most famous works. Great production values. This praise is coming from someone who is incredibly uneasy and uncomfortable around all the death stuff normally. All the death industry stuff freaks me out so for me to praise this says a lot! Thank you for doing this for us, and also for crediting everyone who submitted videos for the project!
@BhChicagoTVStationhistoriesand5 жыл бұрын
Highlighted comment from you made my week! Thank you for that. Let me give you and everyone else reading this some idea of how big of a deal and rarity it is for me to give something like this praise. As I said, I’m severely uncomfortable and uneasy around all the death stuff. I’ve nearly passed out at a few wakes in front of coffins, broke out into a sweat with rapid heartbeat in front of another coffin...I’m better towards the back of the viewing rooms but still can’t be in one for long. At my Grandpa’s funeral, I voluntarily left the room before they closed his coffin. I had to walk directly by the hearse to get out to the parking lot and very nearly passed out with that. Last year at my job I was a cart pusher, one day we had someone come in from a funeral home and wouldn’t ya know it they just had to come in the hearse! I could only see it from behind so I didn’t realize what it was until I got into the corral RIGHT next to it! I ran away as fast as I could, basically tripping over myself as soon as I saw it right there. I was asked to be a pall bearer for Grandma on mom’s side when she died, I couldn’t do it. I told my Mom if I had to they’d have to do two burials. I made a recent decision-no state law says I HAVE to be buried in a coffin or be transported in a hearse so I’ve decided I won’t be subjected to either. Just that one decision made me feel a little easier. Everyone should choose what’s best for them and on their terms. Your videos aren’t scary at all, they’re a true celebration of all these celebrities lives. I think and hope they’d more than approve of it. Hopefully they didn’t mind your visits! You got yourself a subscriber, again coming from someone scared shitless of the death stuff that should be an enormous compliment!

I was blessed to be at Jim Croce's next-to-the-last concert before his death. It was in a small college theater and I was in the front row stage right. It was just him and Maury Muehleisen on guitars. He spoke to the audience as if we were in his living room. 36 hours later, on the way to school, the radio announced the plane crash and their deaths. I cried for days.

15:41 Just visited Memorial Park in Tulsa this past weekend and visited with Leon Russell. A top hat had been blown down off his stone so we picked it up, brushed it off and replaced it. Played 'Song for You' while sitting on the accompanying benches, enjoying the lake view.
