i really appreciate the honestly that this particular formula wont last as long. not all nail polish is the same and some formulas just chip easier, and i really respect that you tell your consumers this so that we can make informed decisions about this product.

Did she also say orange doesn't sell well? I have been wanting Zyler's polish and Orange Drink since they came out but haven't been able to afford them. It was Orange Drink that made me fall in love with orange shades. I've always loved golden and bronze shades but hadn't seen such a beautifully done orange.

I’ve always done it this way because my nails used to be short before completely switching exclusively to Holo Taco. I paint all the way under the nail to keep the polish on longer and keep them from breaking. This is especially good if you have weak nails as it helps to reinforce the strength of them. 💜💿🌮

This new straight-up chrome collection is nice, but with every new collection release, I’m going to continue repeating my long-time request for a gold multichrome. It would be a counterpart to the silver glitters, or the silver holographic Circuit Breaker, but in a multichrome formula. It would have fit in perfectly with the multichrome collection from a while back. I await patiently. EDIT: Fixed my mistaken reference to a silver multichrome, which doesn't exist.

I mean, they are great and all but this is metallic, not chrome. Chrome can only be achieved with the powders. She even reviewed this many years ago, if im not mistaken. Im surprised she named them chrome. They look awesome though! 🎉

Knowing Christine's experience with the Chrome polish rabbithole, I was expecting more of an actual chrome finish in a chrome collection. These all look like very nice smooth metallics, and the colors are very beautiful, but none of them are actually reflective like chrome. I know they weren't going for a mirror-finish, but I wish they were.

This may be my favorite formula so far, I thought it was gonna be difficult to get right but it's easy and looks amazing. Iron violet on my nails right now and it's blinding in the sun, glows inside. I'm getting pink steel next time around, absolutely stunning

This is why I love Holo Taco, the attention to detail, quality, and honesty in the wearability of the different polishes. I can tell a lot of work goes into not only the development and production of the products but these videos too. The editing and music choices are always great. I think Beyyyn (it just feels wrong to spell it as Ben 😅) can officially add hand model to his CV. That aqua shade looks really good on him. But I bet it was killing Cristine to intentionally over stroke to show us. Wrapping the tip first is a great tip because knowing how chrome shows strokes so easily I was wondering about that. I'll have to catch the launch Livestream on VOD.

I just have to say that Cristine and Ben did an amazing job at keeping their composure on the Live Stream this morning! I know that I would’ve been losing my mind if this happened to me, and it has, because computers don’t like my energy. Amongst a very long list, they have lit on fire, fried numerous motherboards in one day, blew up on me at a school presentation where I was a guest speaker for my recruiting job, I have shut down all of my colleagues computers just by touching them, I have shut down numerous hotel and clothing store’s computer systems when I approached, and they then miraculously go back to working the second that I step back, etc, etc, etc. Sooooooo.... good job Simply! You still rocked it!

Whoa there, are you draging your feet on carpet and rubbing balloons on your hair? 😳😅 I worked in IT for a while and mostly had the funny occurrence of people not being able to reproduce the problem as soon as I was standing there to see it. I haven't watched the Livestream yet but I was usually the one to jump up to go help when presenters had tech issues. My professors were always asking me for help too. It sounds like I'm going to be wanting to help when I watch it. My equivalent of people who start yelling video game directions she watching someone else play.

@@XSemperIdem5 - yeah, every single tech person in the jobs where I worked for the Army and AirForce would ALWAYS say that they’d never seen the things that were happening to me. Constantly getting blue screened and the computers were not able to be fixed. Happened to my iPads and iPhones,TVs, bank cards, watches, vehicles, pretty much everything electronic that I’ve encountered. My son learned early to expect delays when shopping with me. Now he just looks at me, shakes his head and walks away. Most people don’t believe me until they see it with me. My colleagues gave me a caution sign and grounding cords to put on all of my electronics. Didn’t help. My friends say that my middle name is, “We’ve never seen this before!”

I haven't bought nail polish since I decided to try it once in the early 2000's and never touched it again. I can't stand wearing make-up or jewellery because of sensory issues but I thought I could make my fingernails pretty at least. What it looked like in the bottle was completely different to what was on my nails and I didn't know what I was doing so it may have been user error but I just came away from the whole thing really disappointed. I've been watching Simply for a few years now, content to just watch and live vicariously, but I just loved two of these shades so much that I had to give in: Iron Violet and Aquafoil. I also got the quick dry base. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like anyone sells these things locally (I'm Aussie) so I'm paying almost USD$20 on postage alone and I'm a pensioner so I couldn't afford a taco or anything else. I just really hope these look like they do in the video. I'll always feel somewhat betrayed by the first bottle but these look perfect in and out of the bottle so I'm letting my hopes get just a little bit high, like on tip toes high...Not quite soaring through the clouds but a damn sight higher than the last couple of decades. (Edit: And for anyone curious, the first bottle I tried to get all those years ago was a saphire blue liquid filled with silvery glitter in the bottle. On my fingernail, there was almost no glitter at all and the blueness was really transparent and I made a mess of things when I kept trying to add to it and fix it and put more layers on. I'm slow and clumsy and uneducated in beauty related things so I probably took too long or didn't wait long enough before trying to apply multiple layers. The nail polish was also a no name brand that only cost me about AU$2 in the local chemist so it may also have been a case of "you get what you pay for;" it could've been a doomed endeavour from the start. I also didn't use a base coat or taco so, again, probably plenty of user error possibilities.) (Edit 2: Just got to the part of the video talking about over stroking. I definitely did that >_> A lot...)

I'm watching with no sound, so if there is reference to "worlds first" I have no idea. So...... I wouldn't go so far as saying its the world's first. I have 2 out of 3 chrome polishes from Sally Hansen which I bought from shopper's about 30 years ago. And I have an essie which I bought about 4 years ago. These are definitely beautiful. Congrats on your successful nail polish line. They are all phenomenal.
