This drone certainly has its connectivity issues, but it does offer some pretty decent quality video. Many of these could be corrected with a firmware update. Great video, Marcus 👍

Hi, Dave here in Charleston. I just purchased the HS 600D and find your videos very very important. I do not see an external antenna on the transmitter, I also had it stop recording after 3 to 5 Seconds when I changed batteries. I contacted holystone and they said it was a app issue, however the next day I fully charged both batteries and had no issues. Previously it would start and stop recording about 5 Seconds multiple times no matter which button I pushed to start the recording it did it multiple times, and this was at eye level 5 ft in front of me which was very frustrating. So far since then it has been flawless, however I have only been using it to go straight up and down over my property as I am deathly afraid of losing it or causing property damage somewhere else. I am old-school and flew model airplanes years ago while I was active duty in the Air Force and always flew visually and it is very difficult for me to fly a long distance away watching it on my phone. I guess that will come in time and gaining confidence in the equipment. Thank you for such an informative video and I will be looking to see more flights for this particular drone.

Some banding in the video at the 14:00 mark. As a hobbyist drone, this looks okay but I think for any professional work I'd get at least a DJI Mini 3 Pro. I want to like these non DJI/Autel drones because we may need to switch to them at some time in the future but so far all of them I've seen reviewed are just lacking the refinement of the two brands I mentioned with DJI being the top of the food chain. The image quality looks to be pretty good. The banding might have been from the props. The flight time appears pretty good too.

Yes, this is not a professional drone. It is a nice choice for hobbyists though.

Hi Mr. Crawford. Good info. I didn't see anything about POI's and was thinking, manual POI? Are you able to yaw when flying past something and using gimble wheel to center it, change altitude...stuff like that. For me, POI's are the only thing I even use waypoints for. Have a good day!

great video as always, buddy... Could it be possible the drone stopped recording because the SD file reached its capacity and it was starting a new file? With DJI I know it usually breaks up the recording into 5 minutes or so clips but it doesn't show the recording being stopped on the screen. I've noticed with a lot of these budget drones I've been flying, it'll stop recording on the screen and then immediately start recording again on its own like it's starting a new file... I'm not sure if my wording makes any sense but it does in my head... hahaha...

Thank you Kevin! Yes, Fat32 formatting has a max file size of 4GB, and is segmented. I don't think that's the problem here though. I'm not sure why I encounter the recording issues? 🤷‍♂️

The Fimi Mini 3 waypoint missions are far superior to the Holy Stone drone. At each waypoint, you can set height and direct the drone to take an action. Also you can set POIs and set mission speed and other options.

Yes, I do agree the waypoint features on the Fimi drone are much more robust.

I am not happy with that drone. It looks like it is picking up the props in the videos, or just bad banding.

Prop shadows are most prevalent in the winter when the winter sun is low in the sky.
