This made me think of Tim Curry cause last time I saw him in anything was in Criminal Minds (2010) and he had gotten so unhealthy looking in couple of years cause before that I saw him in The Secret of Moonacre (2008) and he seem okay at that time. It got me worried but I was like okay.. He is just getting old. Like everyone. Well.. Now I checked again why I haven't seen him and I didn't know thet he suffered a stroke. Darn. Too bad. And sad. Gremlins 2 in particular. Doug could have a field day deconstructing it. I mean, it's a totally unnecessary sequel that KNOWS it's a totally unnecessary sequel and so sets about parodying itself and all other similar sequels. It has no fucks to give, and therefore somehow becomes kind of glorious. That's a goldmine for videos. (Also, Gremlins 1 is kind of overdone. There's not much left to say about it. G2 always gets overlooked.)

Kevin's *"The Reason You Suck"* Speech to his whole family, topping it off by *calling his uncle Frank a cheapskate.* *What makes this even better is the look his parents exchange after he leaves* -it's less one of anger or indignation and more *"How did he peg him so well?!"* Not to mention Fuller and Frank *himself* being just as stunned. *It's even more satisfying in light of the events from the first movie.* Frank called Kevin a "little jerk" during the pizza scene which stopped him from explaining his side of the story to his mother. *Kevin finally got back at him for that.*

A lot of people (many women) become homeless due to a breakup. If they’re kicked out or leave a relationship without anywhere else to go, no family or friends, then yea-homeless. I can’t say I remember the specifics of the old lady character’s breakup, if any details are actually given, but is not that much of a strength to connect a breakup with homelessness.
